Third-person pov

Turns out. Taehyung had adopted a child during the time Jungkook was away. It was a little boy he met when he went to the city one weekend with the others, he was an orphan, given away to an orphanage the minute he was born. Taehyung instantly grew fond of the kid, taking paperwork home to sign as he thought about adopting him. The others knew, but agreed not to tell Jungkook as it wasn't set in stone just yet.

"Jamie," Taehyung whispered as he leant down to the 7-year-old's level, gesturing for him to come to him. The little boy ran to Taehyung, hugging him closely. "Who is he papa?" the boy mumbled confusedly. Jungkook's eyes widened, looking at the others and then back to Taehyung. The said boy looked up to meet Jungkook's gaze, slightly afraid of how he would react.

"My name is Jungkook, what about you buddy?" Jungkook said softly, crouching down beside Tae. "I'm James! But papa calls me Jamie," the boy said excitedly as he jumped around in Taehyung's embrace. Jungkook looked at Taehyung, "Papa?" he smiled softly, "You, um, you adopted a kid?" He said quietly, wanting Taehyung to elaborate. Taehyung's smile dropped, "D-do you not like him?" He said, scared that he would have to give Jamie back to the orphanage.

But before Jungkook could correct him, the little boy crawled out of Taehyung's warm embrace, tears threatening to fall. "Y-you going to give me back," he began to sob. Jungkook quickly shook his head, moving slowly towards the boy that was looking at Tae sadly. "No bub, you are gonna stay here, and you are going to be loved by your papa and your uncles," Jungkook said softly.

"You are him, aren't you?" Jungkook looked at the boy puzzled. "Papa's wife, my, d-dada?" The others snickered at the thought of Jungkook being the wife in this scenario, hell, even Taehyung did. Jungkook just played along, "Yeah, baby, I'm your dada, I'm here and I'm gonna love you," Jungkook finished. He might not know the kid for that long, but he knew he was going to be there for him, he wasn't going to be his father. No. He wasn't going to leave or belittle him. He was gonna love him with every inch of his being.

Taehyung felt more tears prickle his eyes, "Y-you mean it, you won't leave again?" He whispered, he didn't think he could handle Jungkook leaving again. Jungkook offered him a lopsided smile, "Only if you will have me," "Always." Taehyung whispered as he crawled over to Jungkook and Jamie, pulling them both into a bone-crushing hug.

"Okay, then let's get one thing straight," Jungkook said, gaining everyone's attention. "I am your dada and your papa is my wife. He's so beautiful, perfect wife material I'd say so," Jungkook smirked, Taehyung huffing and rolling his eyes. "I guess, but I have you wrapped around my finger Dada," he smirked. Jungkook's eyes widened. "Does Jungkook have a daddy ki-" "Shut up, there are kids present-" "Taehyung literally said daddy in baby langua-" "Shut it Jimin." Taehyung hushed.

They all chuckled at his flushed state. "So I have two parents now!" Jamie said, jumping up and down, dancing around the living room happily. "Yes, I'm your dad and Tae's your mu-" "Shut up ggukie" "Yes ma'am," Jungkook said, getting a slap to the back of his head by Taehyung.

---

Time went on as the couple grew older together, that night Jungkook proposed to a now 'Jeon-Kim' Taehyung. They soon married 5 months later, at the very church they first met, with its new furnishings and meanings of course. Jamie was now a moody teenager, a 17-year-old that was slightly bratty, but easily a loveable character.

Jimin, Yoongi and Hobi were all progressing as police officers and lawyers. They had moved out and bought a house roughly 30 minutes away - an easy drive between this town and the city. Oh! and did I mention, they are engaged too!

As for Jin and Namjoon, they have been happily married for 10 years now. With twin daughters Madeline and Lucy, 5 years old. They still live in the same house, Namjoon is still the prosperous and kind mayor of the little town, and Jin's cafe is happily thriving as numbers rise for its popularity each day.

They all continued their lives and grew closer together. Who knew that a fearful day during university could lead them to their church reunions, let alone that the boy who was a walking red flag in Taehyung's pure eyes, would end up falling hard.
