BetaCube and I are writing a Harry Potter Fan fic. Here's a short excerpt

It was a book with a big green eye in the middle. And as Y/N got close to it, he could hear thousands of voices whispering inside it. He looked for a sign, which would tell him what this thing was, but with no success.Trusting his feeling, he slowly raised one hand to reach out for the book. And right when his index finger touched the leather, the green flames once again engulfed the book. The book seemed to be encased in the flames. It wasn't burning away like all the wands did. It even absorbed some flames into it.The voice inside Y/N's head grew stronger.Take me. I'll help youY/N's hand reached ever so closer to the green book. Every inch closer his fingertips got to the book, the flames surrounding it grew twice as high, eventually getting so back that it almost hit the ceiling of the old decrepit building. When Y/N's hand almost reached the flames, the voice seemed to giggle with maniacal glee as it knew it would finally get taken. Y/N's hand touched the flame surrounding the book, but felt nothing. It wasn't hot, or cold, or room temperature. There seemed to be an absence of feeling when he touched the book. It intrigued him. It was mysterious and drew him closer to it. The H/C haired boy started taking steps ever so closer to the pedestal. The eye grew bigger and bigger, until it seemed to engulf his whole world.A tug at the back of his shirt pulled him out of the trance. The eye was normal sized, nothing out of the ordinary, and the flames quickly diminished as the voice grew weaker and weaker as Y/N got further and further.Y/N's parents looked at their son with fear, not of him, but what was within him, locked away, completely unknown and foreign to him.
