I'm curling my hair as my phone buzzes beside me. Placing the wand on the granite counter I put the phone on speaker.

"What's up Cat?" I ask getting back to my hair.

"What happened with the 'hello Suede Brooks speaking," she mimics my voice making me roll my eyes.

When would she ever get over it.

"I knew it was you," I saw as I turn the tool off and start putting texture spray in my hair. "Anyway why did you call?"

"Saying that we are five minutes away from your dorm. Since I wanted to see your dorm we are coming up,"

"Okay whatever," then I tell her my room number and the call is finished. I look at myself in the mirror before adding any touch ups. I was wearing the jeans, the shirt and the shoes. I added my Burberry Trench coat, that my parents bought me for graduating high school with honours, and being the highest average. And a silver chunky necklace to add something to the plain outfit. I curled my blonde hair and then added eyeliner to my regular makeup routine. I smiled at my look then walked towards my bed to spray on some perfume when a knock came to the door. Turning on my heels I answer the door to my best Friend and her fiancé.

"Hey you guys," I look at what they are wearing and frown.

Cat's wearing a black shirt that has The Rolling Stones logo printed on the front, with a pair of skinny destroyed jeans, and a pair of all black converse. Payton's wearing a muscle tee that has Pink Floyd logo planted on the back and he too is wear jeans although they aren't distressed.

"Should I change?" I ask suddenly feeling out of place.

"No Suede we don't have enough time," and with that I'm being yanked out of my dorm. It takes me and effort to grab my purse.

"Well look at me. I'm all dressed up and we are going to a rock concert. Come on Cat you could of told me," I complain as Payton drives a rented car to the small concert.

"You will be fine. Don't worry. People like different," cat winks as she turns to face me. I was the third wheel in the car sitting in the back. They e already kissed twice and it was anything more that awkward.

"Cat it looks like I'm about to go out for a fancy dinner date!" I hiss.

"Oh suck it up. You'll be fine. You're getting worked up over nothing. Gosh enjoy yourself," and then she turns to face the front of the car and change the station. I frown, then realize being upset wouldn't help anything at all.

It takes another half an hour for Payton to pull up into the concert reserved parking lot. By then I've checked my hair twice to make sure it hadn't gone flat and touched up my makeup. I plastered on a big smile then get out of the car.

"I don't even know why you were complain. Gosh girl, your outfit is fucking fantastic!" She squeals while walking with her hands in the air. I laugh then catch up to my crazy friend.

"So what band is this anyway?" I ask as Payton hands us our tickets.

"It's a town band. They aren't very popular. We used to go to school with the guitarist, Rome, he gave me free tickets. I don't think you know him," she says as we enter the small building where the concert was held.

The building was small and chilly, good thing I wore pants and a jacket. It was very dark only small dim ceiling lamps were giving off any light. It wasn't a furnished room, the floor was still cement and the walls were painted numerous colours and sprayed with graffiti. There were about 10 tall tables with no chairs to sit on an a bar in the far right corner which was swarmed by thirsty people waiting for drinks. And of course the stage which had all the equipment set up ready to be played.
