I walk into school wearing the biggest sweater in my closet and the baggiest pair of sweats. Mom would be rolling in her grave if she saw me ever leave the house like this but at the moment I didn't care what I looked like. My best friend was missing and people were out searching for him without me. Leaving me at school filled with the endless questions that would stay unanswered. As I slump into my desk as Rose quickly approaches me.
"Suede I am so sorry about yesterday," she starts but I put my hand up to stop her.
"I don't need your pity," I response not interested.
"I'm not talking about that silly. I knew you would upset about it so I didn't want to bring it up. I was talking about when I said I'd meet up with you but I didn't. I really want to be friends again and I really am trying," Rose pleads. I roll my eyes not believing any nonsense that comes from her mouth.
"Okay Suede you can roll your eyes at me all you want and think I'm lying and trying to get back at you for what you did to me but I'm not. You would of thought that I would have tried to seek revenge sooner. Well I tried. I was just jealous of how you and Blaze were so close. I felt like you were forgetting me and I hated it, and I hated him for it," I nod my head in response as I glance over to see what time it was.
2 more minutes until the bell rang for school to start. Those 2 minutes would be me getting tortured by the words Rose spits at me.
"So you just want to become my friend now that Blaze is gone. Good one Rose good one," I snicker with anger.
"Suede no! Don't think that! Why do you think I would do such a horrid thing?"
"Because Rose you are a horrid person."
Then the bell rings.

Everyone in my class stared at me with funny looks then quickly snapped their heads back so they could gossip about me to their friends. I knew they were doing it. I wasn't stupid. I would watch them and could pretty much read their lips and grasp each word that floated into their friends ear. Once they all turned and looked at me I just gave them a real nice fake smile, and mouthed thank you too them. Their reactions were priceless.
For the last week I was the girl no one talked to because I was acting rude and arrogant. It's not like I wanted to talk to any one anyway. Well except for Rose.she came over to my house once in while and sooner then later our friendship came as close as it was before the fight and Blaze.
"Here try this cannoli! They are too die for!" Rose says as she pushes her plate inches closer to me. Rose took me to this Italian bakery down town an we were sitting at a booth talking and eating.her mom and my aunt told us they would be back for us in half an hour for they had errands to run.
"Nah I'm alright. I'm not that hungry I had a big breakfast," I reply pushing the dessert back to her. She looks down at the half left and frowns. Once her head comes back up she looks at me with sad eyes.
"Suede you said that yesterday at school when I saw you show up with no lunch. Are you sure you are okay?" She asked looking hurt.
"Yes I'm fine. Just recently I haven't had much of an appetite. I'm sorry to lie to you I just didn't know if you would understand," I try to smile to lighten the mood.
"I totally understand. it happens to me once in a while, trust me it will by pass and you will be as good as new when it's over," she copies the smile I gave to her indicating she was no longer upset or worried and I internally sighed.
Half of what I told her was right. It was true that lately my appetite hadn't been much but I didn't tell her the part about me not choosing to eat when it came back. I had lose a couple of pounds over the week but nothing to serious that anyone could tell.
