"There's a party tonight and was wondering if you guys would like to tag along?" Missy asks as she stands in the middle of our front door.

"Um I'm in. I'll go ask Phoebe can I come on in?" I walk to her bedroom and knock on the door.

"One minute!" She yells probably getting changed.

"Phoebe! Missy was wondering if you wanted to go to a party tonight?" I ask then her bedroom door opens and she's standing in front of me.

"No need to shout," she snickers as she passes me to the kitchen." I'm in as long as we get home before 12:30. I don't have any classes tomorrow morning but I need to do homework."

I turn to Missy she nods. "Well that's the answer. I'll be here at 8:30 to pick you up. I hate when people are late," then she turns on her heels and shuts the door behind her. Then Phoebe and I turn to face each other.

"I have nothing to wear," we both chime at the same time then start to laugh.

"I'll grab my keys," I say

We were sitting at a table in the food court sipping on bubble tea. We had finished our shopping very quickly and we had enough time to stop for lunch.

"So what exactly did you buy again?" Phoebe asks between sips of her tea. I look down at the two bags I had to remind myself.

"I bought this crochet crop top, and a pair of high waisted mom jeans. Oh then a pair of sunglasses," I say.

"That's stupid to by sunglasses. It's still snowy and cold out," she says. "I bought a tie dye sweater and a pair of snake skin Vans slip ons."

"Yes your right but I like to wear my sunglasses in my car," I point a finger in her direction when I see someone behind her. I bite my lip and turn away but it was too late he had already seen me.

"Hello Blaze," I say while looking away from him.

"Hey Suede. This must be your new room mate you were talking about," he smiles at Phoebe and she returns it.

"Phoebe this is my friend Blaze. The one who's house I was at yesterday."

"Hello Blaze. Nice to meet you."

"Now Blaze you can leave me alone," I say through my teeth. He smirks devilishly. This was going to be hard.

"You really don't want me to leave right?" He asks sitting down on the chair beside me.

"Actually yes I do. I don't want to talk to you at the moment so please leave me alone," I reply spinning the straw in my drink.

"Well tell me when you're done being bitchy and I'll give you a call," he gets up and says goodbye to Phoebe then he's out of my sight. I place my head on the table and groan.

"What was that all about?" She asks.

"Our friendship at the moment is very complicated."

We arrived at the party around 9:30 pm. Even though we arrived at the right time it seemed as if we had been a few hours late.

"Woah. I pave never been to a university party before," Phoebe gasps as she steps her heeled foot out of the car.

"Well when your head is crammed in the spin of a book I can see why," Missy snickers making Phoebe frown. I grab onto her elbow and pull her closely towards me.

"Don't take it personally. She's just like that," I whisper into Phoebe's ear. She nods but I can tell the words still bothered her as we walked through the front door.
