I sighed and placed the pen down. We really need to approach some new advertisement techniques.

This month the net profit was 4% less than last one. Well, I cannot ignore the fact that the expenses also increased due to increase in prices of milk.

Another sigh left my lips. "Want another coffee?" Serena, my café manager asked me. "Nope."
"What got you so sad?" She asked sitting in front of me.

"This whole thing, we need to lessen some expenses and increase the customers." I sighed, yet again. Serena shook her head with a smile. "That is not what got you sad, Isabella. I know it. What happened?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked with a frown.

"Something happened. I know, dear. I have known you since you were a kid." Yeah, Serena has been working here since Dad bought this café for Mom when she left her job after giving birth to me and when I turned two. She used to get bored home and loved to bake stuff. So Dad bought this place for her and hired Serena.

Serena is almost of my Mom's age, if Mom would be alive but a few years older. "So, what happened?" she asked placing her hand on mine. What would happen? Enzo broke my heart yet again. Is he back with Sia or something?
"Just some guy." I sighed.

"Oh god, you have a guy in your life and didn't even tell me?" She gasped dramatically. I chuckled at her dramatics. "What happened, I need to know it! Tell me!" She demanded, I laughed.

"So, there's this guy, Enzo. . ." I began telling her everything since I met him till today. Her reactions were amusing; she laughed at some points, cringed at some and right now she had a big cringe worthy look on her face.

"Okay," she nodded. "So, you mean to say he first kissed you. Then asked you to stay away, acted like you were friends and nothing happened between you both for more than a month?" I nodded. "And now, yesterday, he told you again that he wanted you and slept with this girl?" I nodded. "And was with her this morning? Are they dating? Him and that ex-best-friend of yours?" she asked.

"I don't know." I shrugged. "I don't want to know, Serena. It doesn't matters."

"Why? I thought you like him." She frowned. "Don't you like him?"

"I do, but he made it clear that he is just a playing with me when he slept with her." I said. "If he was sincere enough about his emotions, then he wouldn't have had sex with her. He wouldn't have been all casanova then."

She thought for a minute or so and nodded. "You are right. Yeah, you are so right. If he really, really was honest about whatever he told you; he wouldn't have slept with that bitch."
Jeez, never in my 20 years of life I heard Serena curse, let alone call someone a bitch.

"I know." I glanced at my phone, Enzo neither called nor texted. And I am not going to do as well, I don't need any man in my life. I can make it on my own. I just need to forget about all this shit I am feeling for him; which he doesn't deserves by the way. He doesn't deserves to be lov . . . liked by someone like me. Was I about to say love?

"Anyways," I sighed and glanced at my watch. "I should get going. It's 7:30 already."

"Yeah." Serena smiled. "And don't worry. If he is not making efforts, then he is losing something precious." I gave her a thankful smile and closed all the files. Taking them to my office with my bag, I placed all the files safely and locked the room. I handed the keys to office to Serena on my way out and searched for my car keys in the bag. I remember keeping them in the first zip compartment. Where is it?

"Took you long enough to come out." A voice said making me gasp loudly. I gulped. "I have been waiting for almost half an hour. For you."

"Stop scaring me, Noah." I scoffed and smacked his arm turning around.
