"Amor," his sweet, endearing whisper to her cold corpse.

HAZY TRAILS of smoke came out of his lips as he ushered the cigarette stick into his hand. In his other palm was a wooden shovel that dug itself into the hollow part of the ground.

He graced his eyes onto the open field painted with the dark, empty night sky and a pile of corpses lying around the ground in bloodbathe.

On the other side of his view, tombstones stood tall with the signage of the cemetery written on the gates, and below him was a human hole he dug up; a coffin resting in peace and silence.

A smirk slowly formed on the man's lips as he threw the cigarette stick on the ground. He stomped on the small lit fire before he bent and opened the coffin nailed shut.

Upon opening the lid, the undying scent of rose petals and formaline was what entrailed his nose. His eyes feasted on what seemed to be a doll-like woman dressed in an off-white wedding gown decorated with red rose petals.

"Amor, te he encontrado," the man mouthed in a baritone voice.

A woman with pitch black void hair colour, porcelain white skin, and pale purple lips. She was like a bestowed gift like no other-a woman of women. A saintess or a devil-ready to lure you with a facade of true beauty and alore.

The man crunched down to kneel in front of the lying corpse and offered to hold her right hand.

"My beloved wife," he mumbled, kissing the back of her cold lifeless hand followed by his eyes wandering at the crumbling text on the tombstone.

Written in bold elegant words,

Theodora-God's beloved gift.
