WHEN Althea finally woke up from a deep sleep, she urged her body to move when she felt pain radiating all over her body.
In one instance, she remembered that she was beaten into a pulp by a woman named Natasha, who claims to be the supposed fiancee of her husband.
Just as she tried to move, she noticed that something was preventing her from making callous movements; it was a rope tied to her wrists and ankles.
She opened her eyes as best as she could and noticed that the place seemed unfamiliar. Darkness was the only companion she had, together with the raging storm she could hear from outside.
In a split second, the door suddenly swung open, revealing the stature of a muscular man.
"You . . . what's the meaning of this?" Althea said, growling at the man in front of her. He was drenched from the rain outside as he stood there, emotionless.
She already knew that this man was bad news ever since she first met him, and she was right.
"David," she called out his name.
One of the trusted men of Israel, this man has a continuous, unfathoming look in his eyes every time it happens to land on her.
She couldn't discern the thoughts in his head, but it was obvious that he had always been harboring something dangerous.
The man walked up to her slowly, his heavy footsteps creaking on the wooden floor. He knelt down to caress her cheek, which immediately made her flinch.
Those eyes that seem to look at her with that disgusting expression, a shiver runs down her spine.
It was like that time when she was chased down by some men on the outskirts, and Israel was the one to take her away. They were filled with that disgusting look of lust, as though they were ready to devour a meal.
"You have no idea how much I have been enduring, Althea," the man suddenly uttered close to her ear.
This was just like the time when Israel would hold her, but the difference is that this man is his subordinate! How could he do such a thing to his boss's wife?
"You wouldn't get away with this if your jefe finds out what you're doing," she said, gritting her teeth. If only she could move, she would have immediately pushed him away.
One hell is enough; why do predators keep coming and coming?
The man let out a dry laugh.
"Then it means I just have to kill you afterwards." Althea almost turned pale white from the man's words.
She was only putting up a brave front to taunt the man, but she didn't think he was crazy enough to utter those words right in front of her.
Her heart started pounding, and her body started trembling from fear. She can't believe that she was cornered yet again by something like this.
The man's hand started to travel through her body as she yelped to retaliate. She did her best to squirm her body back and forth to remove his hands, but it was no use.
The man's lips touched her bare skin, but unlike the sensation she felt from Israel's, his was rough and ragged, as though he wanted to take a bite of her.
He wanted to eat her alive.
"Althea," the man called out, leaning forward for a kiss. When she turned her head away from him, David instantly slapped her cheek, which made her cry.
"F . . . Fuck," she said as the man continued. She tried her best to scream at the top of her lungs, but because of the raging storm, it seems that her pleas were futile.
