Hogwarts's Very Own Pranksters

I woke up in the morning feeling excited at the thought of the prank. I met the boys outside the portrait hole and we went to breakfast, we were the first people there, we were even there before the teachers. We sat down as Remus muttered a few well chosen words, and we all started smirking.

When the hall was full we decided to start eating, we had to eat the food also ,so that we don't look suspicious when the prank sets in. After a while a few people let out small screams as their hair turned different colours. James was sporting purple hair and eyebrows, Sirius got blue which oddly enough suited him, Remus got pink and Peter black hair. The teachers had also been affected so professor Dumbledore had lime green hair and beard. People started to laugh even the teachers.

We walked to our lessons among the sea of brightly coloured heads, it will last until the evening. We made sure of it.

We were going to have our first Poitons lesson today, with the Slytherins.

When we walked in to class our teacher, Professor Slughorn said "Welcome welcome to your first lesson, I will give you places to sit, to make new friends".
Me and the boys looked at each other and sighed.

"Okay, there are 4 chairs at each table,  so first table will be, Lily Evans, Bartemius Crouch JR, Joanne Bloom and Alice Fortescue." Making it so there were two Gryffindors and two Slytherins at the first table.

Slughorn continued "Severus Snape, Peter Pettigrew, James Potter and Francis Crabbe" Two Gryffindors and two Slytherins at this table too.

"Marlene McKinnon, Remus Lupin, Victor Parkinson and Violet Parkinson"

"And lastly Sirius Black, Jade Potter, Apollo and Ares Smith. Now theese seats may be changed during the term if i feel like it, but for now let's get to work"

When class was over, the boy named Severus Snape stormed out looking very upset. I looked over at James questioningly and he said " What?! I wasn't being rude towards him unprovoked, he was teasing Peter" and Peter nodded in the background.

Lily Evans ran after Snape, and he stopped and they were talking. We were already on our way to the next lesson when we heard angry footsteps behind us.

"POTTER!!!!" I looked up. "No Jade not you, I MEAN YOUR ARROGANT RUDE TOE-RAG OF A BROTHER". 
Peter looked scared and Sirius sniggered.

"What!? Evans my darling!"

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO SEV?! YOU WERE VERY RUDE TOWARDS HIM, AND HE IS MY FRIEND."

"Why, I'm so sorry Lils but you should get better friends, like I said to Jade earlier I was not rude towards him unprovoked"

"AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY UNPROVOKED?"

"Well usually when someone says unprov-"

"I KNOW WHAT THE WORD MEANS BLACK!"

Sirius threw his hands up in the air and backed away.

"Well why did you ask then? Anyway he was being an evil little git towards Peter so I just taught him a lesson about being rude towards my friends" James stated.

Apparently Lily couldn't find anything to say to this so she and the girls, who had been standing a bit further away, walked away towards the next lesson.

I looked at James to see how he would take this, I mean she did really have a proper go at him. And to my surprise he just smiled.

"Did you guys see her!? Evans! She is fierce when she is angry, oh Merlin! Sirius pinch me I think I'm in Love"

"Well Jamesy, sorry to have to tell you but I don't think she likes you a lot. What was it she called you something with a toe" Sirius answered.

"Toe-rag" said Peter "And it is true that Snape boy was being rude towards me, he said that I was a f-fat squib"

"My parents know his mother and she hang around people like the Malfoys who are really evil, so I already don't like the git" Sirius said.

"See so she should really watch out when it comes to that Snivellus boy, like I said" James stated.

"Well even if he approves of her the rest of Slytherin house won't, she is a muggle born, which I know for a fact that they hate" Said Sirius.

I sighed and looked at Remus who said
"Congratulations you guys, we have our first school enemy. But really James if you want to impress Lily you should probably not be rude towards Snape"

"Well Remy, I could do that, or I could just teach him that it's bad to think I'll about others. And I really do not like him. Anyway did you guys see his greasy hair, it was coloured green! He looked like a slime ball" James said and we all laughed.

At dinner that evening Lily were glaring at James, who noticed and winked towards her. Apparently he has decided that he wants to date her and all I can say to that is Good luck, he's going to need it.

I am very aware that my brother can be arrogant and sometimes even rude, an trust me I have tried talking to him about it but doesn't listen. Hopefully he will grow out of it when he gets older.

"Merlin I'm tired" Remus said

"Yeah me too Rey! Hey Jamie did I hear you mentioning something about an invisibility cloak before?" Sirius asked my brother

"Oh yeah, my dad gave it to me when I turned eleven, it's apparently tradition in our family to give it to your oldest son when he turns eleven"

"Heey! It's my cloak too" I stated

"Yes and well since we're twins dad says it's ours, he did also say that we shouldn't bring it here to Hogwarts, but where's the fun in that" James smirked.

"So what do you say about using it to explore the school tonight"

"Weren't you just saying how tired you were Sirius?!"

"Yes Remus darling, but one is never to tired to break the rules, what do you guys say, do you want to explore with me?"

" Well, I actually meant that I am tired when I said it and we have homework so sadly I have to decline"

"Boo, boring Rem, what about you Petey?"

" I am going to do homework and then sleep" he said to Sirius

"Obviously I'm in, what about you sister dearest?" Said James

"Actually I am going to spend some time with the girls, so sorry but no. Although I would love to another time"

And with that Remus, Peter and I went to the common room and then to our dorms, and James and Sirius went to grab the cloak and to explore.
