It was the day before Christmas break and James and I were staying at Hogwarts. Mostly because we knew that Sirius would and we didn't want him to be alone, but also because Hogwarts at Christmas was exciting.
We spent the night before break in the common room, James and Sirius were playing chess, Remus and I reading and Peter were in the dorm packing. He was the only one in our friend group who would be going home the next morning.
"What are you reading Jay?" Remus asked me.
"A muggle book, called Gone with the wind" I said. "It's really good actually you should read it, yo can borrow it when I'm done with it"
"Oh thank you! I would love to"
Just when I was going to answer Lily walked past us and of course James noticed.
"EEEEVANS MY LOVE".
She glared at him.
"Are you staying here for Christmas my flower?"
"No you toe-rag Potter, I'm going home"
"Well that's to bad you are missing spending time with me"
"No Potter! That's why I'm going home so that I don't have to spend time with you"
I rolled my eyes while Remus and Sirius laughed.
A long while later. I was awoken from my reading by James voice shouting.
"NOOO! HOW COULD I MISS THAT!!"
"Well, Jamsie I'm sorry but that's life"
Sirius had won their chess game. After this Remus announced that he was going to bed and Sirius and James followed.
I also went to my dorm and saw that all the girls were fast asleep.

On Christmas Day I was woken up by the boys screaming "JAAAAAADE! DAAAARLING! BEEESTIEE! WAKE UP"
Knowing them I figured they wouldn't stop screaming until I was up and were with them. So I stomped into their dorm and said loudly "WHAT?!"
"It's Christmas darling"
"Yes Sirius I'm aware!"
"Well let's open gifts, children" James said.
I got a lot of nice gifts and so did the boys.
James: Broom Servicing Kit- From Sirius, A knitted shirt with snitches on-From Remus, A small model of a Snitch- from me and an assortment of his favorite sweets-From Peter.
Sirius: A knitted shirt with the Gryffindor lion on-From Remus , Broom Servicing Kit-From James ("great minds think alike" he had stated) and from me a leather jacket, an assortment of his favorite sweets-From Peter.
Remus: A years worth of chocolate-From Peter, A Pile of good muggle books-From Me, A knitted shirt with animals on it-From Sirius and A scarf - from James that he had knitted himself.
I got: A knitted shirt with flowers on it-From Remus, A Muggle book called Wuthering Heights-From James, also a years worth of chocolate-From Peter and a beautiful necklace with a small diamond from Sirius.
All of us were really pleased with our gifts and for the rest of the day we were outside and were having a snowball fight.
Soaked and tired we went inside to change before dinner and then we went down for dinner. The great hall were beautifully decorated and the food was amazing.
That same evening Remus, James, Sirius and I decided to use our invisibility cloak and sneak in to the Slytherin common room to drop som dungbombs.

The day before term started again Sirius, James and I were serving detention with Filch. We had been trying to make Malfoys hair purple, but failed miserably and we had been scolded by McGonagall.
Our punishment was to polish the trophies in the Trophy Room, wich we were used to. We had gotten a lot of detentions this year. We were talking about a plan of ours to make map of Hogwarts.
"Remus were saying that there is a spell that can make it so that you can see everyone in the castle, what they're doing, every minute of every day" Sirius said.
"But to do that we need to explore more, we need to find all the secret passages so we can mark them on the map" James stated.
"You know what that means Jamie, more exploring for us"
"Yes Sirius! And Jade my little gemstone you and Remus will be I'm charge of writing the map and figure out a way to hide it, so not everyone can open it"
"Of course, brother dearest! Rem and I will be the brains of the operation"
At that moment Professor McGonagall came in and told us detention was up and to go to bed.
" Why yes We will most certainly go to bed dear Minnie" Sirius said.
"Until next time my darling Minerva" James said.
And McGonagall answered "Is it to much to ask you not to do so much maraudering for this term"
And we laughed and went to our dorms , when we got in to the dorm James said "You know what guys?! I think Professor McGonagall just gave us our new name, THE MARAUDERS"
"It does have a Nice ring to it, doesn't it?" Sirius stated.
I answered "yes it really does, you have to tell Rey-Rey, anyway I'm off to bed goodnight my boys"
"Goodnight" They chorused

The start of the new term was dull, gray and cold. I was sitting at the breakfast table being joined by my boys who were talking animatedly with each other.
"Morning Gemstone! We, meaning Sirius and I, just told Remus and Pete about the namne McGonagall gave us yesterday. And they love it, don't you guy's?"
"Great name" said Peter.
"Best name ever" Exclamied Remus
James and Sirius smiled.
Just then Lily and the girls sat down for breakfast.
"Oh my Merlin, Lily-flower how have you gotten more beautiful during break, how is it possible!!" James Exclamied.
"Shove off Potter!!"
"Lily darling, go out with me"
"Once again Potter! NO!"
James didn't even react, I'm starting to think he likes the attention he gets when she rejects him. He doesn't even seem bothered, I guess he still have hopes that she one day will change her mind.
"Good morning Lils! How was your break?" I ask
"It was amazing I went skiing with my family, and we just hung out. It was so nice, and yours Jadey? Did you have a nice Christmas here?"
"Oh yes it was amazing, I spent my last day of break in detention with theese two idiots" I pointed at James and Sirius.
"What did you do?" Marlene asked
"Oh it's nothing really" Said James
"No big deal" Sirius continued
I sighed and smiled "we broke in to the Slytherin common room and dropped dung bombs"
"Did you really?"
"Yes Alice! That's why the Slytherins looks so sour" I said as all the girls turned their heads towards the Silver and Green table and burst out laughing.
