James and Sirius Reading a Book! Really?!

A few months hade gone by and It would soon be Christmas. James and I would be staying at Hogwarts this year too.

"What did you wish for from Mum and Dad?" I asked James.

"Oh you know just the usual for our pranks, dung bombs and such. What about you Jay?"

"I'm writing them now, I think I'll ask for a book on advanced Transfiguration and maybe charms or Poitons"

"You wish for advanced school books for Christmas!! Are you mad?" Sirius asked me looking shocked.

I just laughed and took out my charms homework.

"Hey guys! I'm going home for Christmas this year" Remus said

"Yeah me too! I promised mum and dad and my sister" Peter said

"Oh! That's too bad! We will miss you guys of course" Me and James answered together.

"Sirius you're staying, right?" James asked

"Heck yes!"

I laughed and smiled.

Later that evening I met the boys in the common room (yes we had a new prank planned).

James and the boys came down under the cloak. I would not get under it since I was gonna use my metamorphosing as a disguise.

I morphed in to Sirius cousin Narcissa (girlfriend to Lucius Malfoy). And we went down to the Slytherin common room.

"What are you doing out this late" An Angry looking 7th year asked me.

"I was in the library and forgot the time, can I go on now, Lucius are probably worried"

"Oh you're Lucius Malfoys girlfriend, why of course, please go inside"

Apparently some Slytherins found Lucius Malfoy scary.

Me and the disguised boys under the cloak and the Slytherin went in and he went to his dorm.

"Okay, boys the coast is clear! Let the fun begin" I whispered

The morning after (aka the last day before Christmas break), the Slytherins came in to the great hall looking very wet and annoyed. 'Yes we had filt their common room with water and stuck all the tables and sofas and chairs to the ceiling. A very fun prank in my opinion, but apparently the Slytherins didn't think so! Oh no! What a shame!'

Professor McGonagall came up to me and the boys, and Sirius said.

"Why Minnie darling! To what do we owe this pleasure?"

"Some students told me that you pranked the Slytherins, did you?"

"Now now Minnie! Why would we do that?"

"Oh I do not know Black! I seldom do know how you kids think"

"What makes those students think we did it?" I asked

"Well because they found a paper with the name Jade Potter on, and I do not think you did all that by yourself"

"Shit! I forgot about that paper! But alas you're wrong professor I did it all by myself "

"No you did not" James said. "I was also there profesor"

I glared at him, honestly how stupid of him I'm trying to get them out of trouble.

"Yeah me too"

Not Sirius too, these boys never learn.

"Well then, that's settled you three will spend your break in detention" She turned around to Remus and Peter and said "And I hope you Mr Lupin and Mr Pettigrew will have a nice holiday"

And with that she walked away.

McGonagall had meant what she said and me, James and Sirius were in detention everyday (except Christmas Day) during the Christmas break.

Mum and Dad had sent me the books I asked for and I was spending a lot of time reading through them. They were very interesting.

Two weeks into the new term there was a full moon and Moony ( a nickname James and Sirius came up with) was going to the shrieking shack.

I was reading a particularly interesting chapter on Animagi, wizards who can transform into animals, when I got an Idea.

"Heey boys!"

"Yes!" They all answered

"You know how we all really feel bad about not being able to help Moony when he goes Moony"

"Yes" James said

"Well I have an Idea, it might be a crazy one but hear me out"

They looked at me Intensely.

"What if we could be with him in the shack, but as animals. He is not dangerous to animals, and we could turn into big ones that could defend themselves from werewolves. We could become Animagi"

They looked confused and I had to explain the concept of an Animagus.

"That might be the most crazy and brilliant thing I've ever heard" Sirius said

"How do we become one?" James asked.

And we all sat down to read that chapter on Animagi carefully also deciding to not tell Remus about our Idea as he would probably not like it. He would think it very dangerous (wich it was)

On our last day of term we decided to let off a few fireworks and dung bombs just to make sure the teachers would remember us during break.

We were sitting in our usual compartment, when two girls from Hufflepuff came up to hang out with James and Sirius.

"Hey boys remember me, anyway I brought my friend Francis Dale, she wanted to meet you" Amanda Bloom said

James and Sirius gave each other a look wich I think means that they thought the girls were very cute.

"Hello Amanda! Of course we remember you, how can we forget such a beautiful smile like yours" James said

I rolled my eyes. She's not really falling for his "charm" is she.

"And Francis was it, how very splendid to meet you, you've got beautiful eyes. Please sit down " Sirius said

When Sirius complimented her I got a strange feeling in my stomach, but pushed it away.

The girls didn't ever acknowledge me or Remus, or Peter. They gave me a dirty look. And flashed beautiful smiles to Remus and Peter.

I rolled my eyes and took out my book, curled up to Remus and we started reading.

When we arrived at Kings Cross, James and Sirius bid the girls farewell and asked them to write. And we decided to all make plans to hang out during break.

Just then Lily walked up to me.

"Jade! You have to come and visit me this summer! "

"Oh fun! Of course I will! Write me when you've checked with your parents"

James turned to Lily, but before he even opened his mouth she said

"No James, you are not invited! Girls only. And besides you will probably be busy with the boys"

And with that she walked away.

"I wasn't even going to ask her to invite med, I just wanted to wish her a happy break" He looked confused

"She did call you James this time, mate" Sirius said

But for some strange reason James didn't seem to care.

All of us hugged and went home.
