Chapter 13 - Gareth *Eddie's POV*Jealousy*

----Eddie's POV----

Two minutes left and then you were done...then you could be with y/n and *actually* spend your free period together. Well, you'd just be taking her back to your place probably since the school day would be over just after.

Your leg bounced up and down under your desk, making the chain on your hip rattle with it. The girl next to you kept shooting you annoyed looks and rolling her eyes. You didn't care...you had spent years here being called 'the freak,' being the outcast, being judged for whatever you did...but you mostly didn't care because all that was on your mind was y/n.

The clock ticked loudly, echoing through the silent room, each tick making you more and more anxious

"come on, come on," you whispered, watching the hand approach the hour mark. You clenched your fist just as the bell rang, springing out of your seat and slinging your bag over your shoulder in one smooth motion, rushing out of the classroom as quickly as possible. You darted down the hall to y/n's classroom, hoping to catch her as she walked out. You stood by the door for a minute, waiting patiently to surprise your girlfriend...and then you heard her laugh

"Oh my god," she laughed, "thats hilarious"

Who could she be talking to, you wondered. The classroom was essentially empty now and she still hadn't come out, you were starting to get curious, but didn't want to barge in on her conversation

"Yeah, its always a fun time," a familiar voice responded, "you should come watch us play sometime,"

"I'd love to, Eddie's told me all about it," y/n responded

They were close to the door now, you stepped back and leaned against the lockers next to the door as y/n and Gareth walked out, her eyes locked on you in an instant and her cheeks flushed red. Gareth's eyes were locked on her, on her face, her lips, and it took a few seconds before his gaze followed her's to you. As he saw you his eyes widened slightly and he opened his mouth

"Eddie!" Gareth began, "what are you doing here?" he sounded surprised

"Well...Gareth...I'm picking up my girlfriend," you sassed him, "what are you doing here?"

He stuttered for a second. No fucking way your best friend had a crush on your girlfriend....that'd be impossible right?

"Gareth's in this class with me apparently," y/n began, you looked over at her, "I didn't know him yet last week, but now I do, so we're gonna be lab partners for the rest of the year," she smiled at Gareth

"Oh really?" You asked, crossing your arms

"Yeah Munson, nothing to worry about though...."Gareth said as he began walking towards you, stopping once your shoulders were touching. He leaned in towards your ear, whispering to you, "its not like I'm gonna steal your girlfriend or anything," he smirked as he patted you on the back and walked away down the hall.

"What was that about?" y/n asked, innocently clutching her science books in front of her

"Fucking asshole," you said as you grabbed y/n's arm and started walking towards the school exit...the opposite way Gareth went.

You were so pissed, so pissed that you had yet another person trying to split you two apart, and this time it was your best friend. First Jason and now Gareth?? Your bandmate, your player, why? Yeah you and y/n had only been together for a few days, but a lot had happened in those days and you were attached at the hip at this point.
