Pony's POV
I was walking home from school and saw my boyfriend kissing Sylvia Jade against the bus. I always knew I was just a little play toy, but it hurts more when your right about it.
I ran as fast as I could to get away from Dally. I didn't think he saw me 'til I heard pounding feet chasing me and a girl's voice shouting for him to come back.
I ran inside and straight to my room, closing the
door behind me. I cant believe he fooled me into thinking he actually loved me.
"Pony, open the door, please." His voice called out, but in return I yelled, "I thought I meant something to you. But you fooled me with that stupid smile of yours to believe your wicked plan. Just leave me alone Dal."
"Babe com' on it ain't like that. You know I love you"
I was boiling with anger. "Don't say what you don't mean, Dallas!! I love you but you don't love me!! Just go back to your bitch and leave me alone!!"
After staying in my room for 3 hours, I opened the
door to find Dal crying on the other side. I lean next
to him and give him a kiss on the cheek he looked
at me and looked back down.
I helped him up and laid him down on my bed as
he was falling asleep. As I watched him sleep I felt a pang in my chest and knew id be with him another day. I knew I couldn't run because I would end up in his arms again.
I knew I fell to deep. Whatever he does, I'll still be in
his arms by the end of the day. No one can change that.
It's like getting shot in the heart and the wound healing in a hour and that's why I'm here laying next to him, lying my head on his chest.
I know he loves me but maybe he can't express it. It
messes up our relationship but I like it. I still crawl back to him and he still goes and cheats but comes back to me every night.
"I love you Ponyboy" he says and I reply "I love you too."
