"Libby omg!!! We could do this." Kit says excitedly. "Do what. I don't speak drunk Kit."
"Pretend date!"
"No!" I say without thinking.
I couldn't do that. Not even for the publicity. I would fall deeper in love with him...
"Libby, think about it. It couldn't be more perfect. We have an interview tomorrow. We go and tell them we made it official tonight and the kiss with the boy was a mistake. We tell them we are in love. They believe we are dating and the rumors will eventually die down. Then in 2 or 3 months we say we broke up. It will be all over. Plus I want to ask you something... Will you move in with me?"
I freeze... I don't know what to say. The plan sounds good, good for someone who wasn't in love with the other person.
"Well. I will move in with you, but only because I have no where else to go and can I think about it and let you know in the morning?"
"Yes of course. And I am so happy you are moving in." He smiles as I walk upstairs with the bag I recently packed and now had to unpack.
*I don't know what to do... I feel like my heart is about to explode. He wants to pretend date? Am I not good enough to really date? Shut up.

Me and Kit are on our way to the interview, he is obviously nervous as he is sat there saying nothing.
"How you feeling?" I ask.
"Weird. How about you? Have you decided if we are going to do this or not?" His lip twitches. Clearly nervous.
"Maybe I have, maybe I haven't." I wink at him, which seems to calm him down a little bit. His leg stops tapping and he half laughs.
"You are a pain, Miss Mae." I chuckle at his statement. As he parks his car.

"And we are live." Says the reporter.
She starts by asking us how we are and what our favourite things to do were on set. Then she got onto the most important questions...
"Libby, If you don't mind I'm going to ask you a few questions."
I nod "yeah fire away!"
"I'm sure you have seen all the rumors going around of you and Kit dating. How have you been dealing with them?"
Its time.
"Well it was pretty stressful at first as it was a big thing. I mean the rumors started just from us going to a club. Me and Kit tried to get the rumors to stop circulating but in the end we gave up. We even had Kizzy who plays Darcy in Heartstopper try and post on their story but still that didn't stop them."
She nods "right yeah I understand, the media is crazy nowadays. So I think the main question is... are the rumors true?"
I grab Kits hand and link our fingers together. It feels so comforting instantly. "I can confirm the rumors are true. But we weren't dating when they first started circulating. We made it official last night actually. We are dating..."
Kit turns to me and smiles.
"So Kit question, how were you feeling when Libby kissed that boy last night? I mean you obviously liked her if you are dating now."
"Yeah well, I was quite pissed off. Seeing the girl I love kissing a random boy in a club. But we cleared things up. And we love eachother very much."
My feelings are eating me...
"And Libby can I ask you, why did you kiss that boy?"
"Yeah, erm well. It's no excuse but I was very drunk and I thought it would stop all the rumors which it didn't of course. But as soon as my lips left that boys I felt so much guilt even tho- I mean because I am in love with Kit I wanted to take it back and never do it. I think I always loved Kit from the moment it met him, but the feelings grew over time. It has been almost 2 months and I am so happy that I can finally say that I got the boy I love."
Kit looked at me with a confused smile.
Well fuck.
The interview wraps up and me and Kit got in the car but he didn't even start the car.
"Was it true?" His voice quietly spoke almost breaking.
"Was what true?" I reply.
"You have loved me from the moment you met me?"
Pretty much
"No, it was just to sell it. Obviously. We're friends trying to get rid of a rumor." I say lying.
"Well if you're telling the truth and you are trying to sell it, let me ask some questions."
I nod confidently...
"Libby, what are your true feelings towards Kit?"
"Well he is my boyfriend so I love him of course, but as soon as I saw his smile I knew that he was going to be everything I wanted. He is always there when I need him. Always checks up on me. I just love him so much. I'm so lucky to call him my boyfriend."
"Okay enough questions." Kit says while starting the car quickly. "Let's go home." He says and reverses out of the car spot.
