after the events of the foreveer fall forest and jaune standing up to cardin about to never mess with his friends ever again, things have been going well for jaune that his transcripts haven't gotten revealed, meaning that cardin decided to keep his mouth shut, and that after that, phyrra has been training jaune to be a better fighter with his friends and teammates by his side. now we see team JNPR in ozpin's office, who had discovered something in a nearby cave in the emerald forest
jaune: professor ozpin, you needed us?
ozpin: yes i do need you for something important. i just recieved word that one of my contacts found something in a cave, located in the emerald forest.
nora: ooh, what is this something your contact found.
ozpin: unknown, which is why i needed you on this mission to find it.
ren: professor, you can count on us.
jaune: yeah, if it something unknown, we're the perfect team to do the job.
ozpin: good, report to me when you found it.
phyrra: we will.
she said as they all left the office and go on their mission
in the emerald forest, we see team JNPR heading toward a cave, which is where ozpin's contact found that unknown thing he said
jaune: this must be the cave, i'll go in first.
phyrra; be careful jaune.
she said as jaune went inside the cave and after a few minutes, jaune called them by saying
jaune: EVERYONE, COME LOOK AT THIS!!!!
he called out as his teammates ran inside the cave and see what they are seeing as their eyes widened in awe

the monitor questioned as it looks at jaune and scans him
???: it can' be? a descendant of the forerunner arc family? in MY PRESCENCE!!!!! OUTSTANDING!!!!! we have much to do.
jaune: umm, what are you exactly?
phyrra: what's a reclaimer?
ren: and what's a forerunner?
???: oh where are my manners, i am 626 Arcane, i am the monitor of this installation on planet remnant. and you are a descendant of a proud race of galactic protectors called ''the forerunners'' my makers.
the monitor said to jaune' who had shocked anime eyes at hearing what the monitor said, including his teammates at hearing that jaune and his family are descendants of aliens that protected the galaxy
nora: so, jaune's an alien...that's so AWESOME!!!!!
ren: for once i agree with you, nora.
he said as he smiled at his teammate
phyrra: so jaune has an even bigger family?
arcane: so that's his name. well jaune, what is your family like?
jaune; well, i have a mom, dad, 7 sisters, a sister in law, and a nephew.
phyrra: wait, you're an uncle?
jaune; yeah, i didn't know how you and the others will react if i told you, so i kept him a secret.
nora: i understand.
ren: exactly.
arcane: fascinating, it will be nice to meet the descendants of my maker, who named me after himself.
jaune: why not just contact the other forerunners?
nora: yeah, are they even alive or something?
arcane: sadly....no. the forerunners died out a long time ago, except my maker, who found love with a human female on this planet and had a family.
jaune; but what happened to the forerunners?
he asked as arcane began to explain them about their war with humans from a planet called earth, then their conflict with a dangerous parasite called the flood. after explaining them about the flood, they were shocked and horrified at what they were told about those monsters
phyrra: i can't believe that there are worse things than the grimm.
she said as she looked at her teammates, even nora, who had tears in her eyes at hearing what arcane described about the flood as she hugged ren, who comforted her by hugging
jaune; but what happened to my people? how were the flood defeated?
arcane: at the end of the forerunner-flood war, my makers created a weapon of last resort called HALO, a weapon comprised of 7 planet sized rings, which are also used as artifical worlds. once activated, they and all other sentient life in 3 radei of the galactic center died as planned. would you like to see the relivent data?
after explaining what the halo array is to juane, he was shocked to his core as he said
jaune: guys...i contain the last blood and dna of my people. i'm all that's left of the forerunners.
he said in a sorrowfull tone in his voice until....
arcane: actually, you're not.
he said, making jaune raise his head up in hope
jaune: really?
arcane: yes, but they're apparently my master's guards.
team JNPR: guards?
arcane: indeed, i'll explain once you follow me to where they are being held.
he said as he floated towards a door as jaune looked at his team and said to them...
jaune; come on guy, i wanna see my people.
nora: i wonder what they look like.
ren: same.
phyrra: (blushed while thinking) i wonder if he's royalty since arcane said that there are guards here.
she thought as she walked towards the door arcane was floating at as the screen went dark
