Chapter 8 - Goodbye.
The women were told to return home whilst the men buried her beside her daughter's grave.
Like mother, like daughter.
I lay beside the path watching the men place her body under the ground, one young man was covering her body with dirt. Moments later, mother came, her face resembled no emotion and she cried loudly. Her cry echoed through my ears, the same sound she made when we watched father get buried.
Aunt Beatrice was our only family left and now she was gone.
Once nothing but mud lay in front of me and everyone returned home before the sunset, I placed a flower on the mud where Aunt Beatrice lay. The exact same flower that lay above her daughter's grave, both were so beautiful inside and out.
How could one do such a thing?
One question ran down my mind...How did she die? Bullet, knife, gas?
I picked up the note I found placed on her body and read it numerously until my mind could think of who could of possibly written it.
One person came to my mind...
The Chief.
As he is trying to destroy my life, by removing the ones I love out my life, I will ruin him too, by removing him out of this world.
Revenge is sweet, but my most powerful weapon is time.
49 days left Chief and
you will pay for what you have done for me.
A price you cannot afford.
"Abigail.." a mysterious figure spoke,
I adjusted my head to see a person whom I didn't expect to encounter.
