Chapter Two : Special Delivery.
I glanced at my fathers picture. He was a good-looking man, tall and blonde certainly what every woman desired.
I felt the cold tear drip down my cheek as I remember the day when he used to pick me up by my waist and spin me around, allowing me to feel like I was flying. Silently, more and more tears drip down my face as I remember the day he died when he told me to hate back on those haters, who made his life a misery. After when laws were changed and people wanted a chief to rule the villages, the voting's began. And so did the conflict.
When my father successfully became chief, every peasant hated on him as they wanted Sherman Rulock to become chief. Sherman was an old man, with two faces. Outside he was all lovely and sweet, but inside he was evil and greedy. Peasants used to spit and throw rocks at my father, then he was given poison and killed by one of the maids. Another tear fell down my face.
There was a knock on the door and one of my guards walked in, I quickly wiped my tears and jumped off the bed. "Sir there is a young man awaiting for you, he said his name was Jack Flower? Floerrer? Ferrir?, I don't remember" he said. "Okay allow him in the gates and tell him I will encounter him in the lounge" I said whilst looking out the large windows that are also seen in churches, with religious symbols to manifest Christ.
I headed for the lounge to meet the young lad. There he stood with his brown spikey hair and sweatshirt. He was looking at one of my souvenirs from Spain, it was a transparent whale. As I stepped closer, he instantly put the souvenir down and looked at me
. "Good Afternoon Sir" he said whilst pulling his sweatshirt down trying to straighten it. "Good Afternoon Jack, take a seat" I said.

My eyes widened as I dragged the cursor to the bottom of the email, it read : 'Abigail Hunter, you can come to visit Hunaburgim Training Arena. Hunaburgim is open from 9am till 12pm, but those who are going to stay in Hunaburgim hotel are going to stay here for a long period of time and will visit home every 2 weeks. Your visiting time is from 5pm till 6:30pm. Remember, if you are not happy with anything please report to our staff for more required information. We hope you will enjoy your day here. Best regards, Bill Thurpan Manager.
I pranced around the room in happiness and headed for the door, as I turn the door knob Mother appears. "Hey Abi, grab the shopping bags and sort them out ta" she said whilst pulling the bags towards me.
"Mother, what am I going to wear for training? I heard there was a hotel too." I said as I grabbed the bags and headed back into the hallway to the kitchen. "Anything suitable? and yeah there is but it would cost a lot of money, you can earn your own money and pay monthly If you want?" she questioned whilst raising an eyebrow. "That's a good idea, but where could I possibly be employed?" I questioned.
I grabbed a newspaper and flicked the pages through to jobs, there were many jobs from dancing to giving out newspaper. "How boring" I said whilst throwing the newspaper back from where it came from and jumped onto the sofa.
My eyes shut, I could slowly feel myself fall into my deep sleep.
There I was standing in the hallway of the arena, sharpening my blades for one of the missions. There was a big obstacle course but with black figures of which you had to kill, the black figures could shoot back but if you were shot more than twice, you had lost the mission.
My blades were sharpened and I stood waiting amongst the waiting queue for my turn, everyone was nailing it. They ducked, shot and dominated the course. It was my turn. As the doors shut, I signed and got out my blades. I went through a triangular hole and jumped over a lodge, as I went through a smaller hole one of my blades dropped out of my pocket. I reached for it, until a black figure appeared and shot an arrow at me.
My voice shrieked in pain, then my voice screeched and I cried loudly. Until nothing came out and there I lay.
Dead.

"Abigail wake up? It's 4pm, get ready there's only an hour left and it takes half an hour to get there" Mother said whilst throwing the duvet off my body, it felt as if she removed all the heat off my body.
"Mom, am i dead?" I questioned. "Are you mad? stop messing with me Abigail, and get up now!" she shouted. As she shouted, I shivered and stood up. "I-I-I had a nightmare, I was in the training arena and I went to one of the obstacles and a black figure shot me, I was lying in my own blood" I said whilst sobbing. "I realised" Mother said as she threw my clothes on my bed and placed my breakfast on my stool.
I got up and headed for the bathroom. I stared at my reflection, I had chapped lips and my hair was in knots. I hated the way I looked. Blonde curly hair and thin lips with brown eyes. I washed my face and fixed my chapped lips, brushed my teeth.
Afterwards, I changed and ate my breakfast. I wore black leggings and a black sweatshirt and black boots, I straightened my hair and applied red lipstick. I just had to look a little attractive, if my skills were not.
I ran down the stairs and headed for the door. I could see mother waiting in the car in the corner of my eye, she was on the phone and her expression looked negative. I wonder who she was talking to, maybe my session was cancelled? I thought. I walked over the front garden realising that my new boots were getting ruined, but this isn't the case to worry about.
"Mom, who is it?" I questioned. "Shut up Abbie, i'm on the phone" she replied raising her tone. "Yeah, I realised that" I said rolling my eyes, "Well, i have to go now i am in a hurry you can ring me later" she hissed whilst slamming her phone on steering wheel.
"Get in the car and don't speak" she shouted,
"But Mom..."
"You heard me" she replied back. The whole of the journey silence sat between us, but for now all I know is there is something wrong, that I am not aware of but I shall soon find out.
