[Thank you for your patience!!!
This next chapter is more of "Pokemon Issues" and a possible "second love interest/antagonist"... Or at least an antagonist for a certain blue-haired boy. Nothing too spicy in this chapter - just more of problem and TENSION creation. Because without problems & fights, you can't have spicy makeup sessions ;)]
A yell broke out somewhere near the Diamond Settlement. With that, Adaman kissed me on the lips before fleeing.
The night was spent fending off the invading Pokémon species' - Pichu and Pikachu. While I watched the battle from my tall cliff, I realized that one of the Pichu had taken a loaf of bread and was making a beeline away from the battle. It was not so much of a battle, but more of the Diamond Clan members trying to capture the little lightning rodents.
Curiously, I summoned Staravia from her ball and had us fly a few feet behind the Pichu. We left the sounds of battle behind as we swerved through the hilly muddy Crimson Mirelands.
Passing by all the nocturnal ghost and dark type Pokemon always gave me chills. The last thing I wanted to deal with was getting attacked by a wild Pokemon.
Eventually, the Pichu reached what looked like a small hill in front a muddy clearing. As we drew closer, we saw that the little hill had a small enough hole for a Pokemon, up to the size of a Pikachu, would be able to fit through with ease.
I might be able to crawl in through there.
I watched that Pichu warily make its way through the muddy clearing.
Just as Staravia and I started to lower ourselves in altitude, I heard a rumble.
In the centre of the clearing, a mound of dirt started to form, until a hole aggressively ripped through the earth. A massive Sandslash with glowing red eyes revealed itself from the ground.
I cursed.
Pichu squeaked as it made its way across the clearing.
The Sandslash darted at the little Pichu.
"Staravia! Gust!" I gripped my Staravia's feathers as it blew a large gust of wind at the Alpha Sandslash.
The Sandslash toppled over, its large body dragging across the mud, leaving a thick violent trail.
I glanced over at its prey, staring in disbelief.
"Go, little Pichu!" I shouted.
The Pichu unfroze and nodded in understanding. Then, it started to head towards the little hill - which I assumed was its home.
While the little electric mouse ran for its life, the Alpha Sandslash got up from its muddy fall. It roared in anger, lowering its head to intimidate me.
I cursed.
The Sandslash's eyes glowed its vicious red, punching the ground in its taunt.
In my peripheral, the Pichu had made it safely to its home, and I could breathe in relief - partial relief.
The Sandslash shot a beam of red sand attack in my direction and it took every ounce of energy to avoid its path.
I sprinted to the edge of the clearing, but the Sandslash's eyes followed my every move.
I can't do this alone.
"Need a hand?" A familiar voice spoke, and I yelped.
Rei walked beside me with his usual friendly smile.
"Trying to steal my Thunder?" I asked, sweat building on my forehead.
"Thunder's probably not the best move to use against a Ground type," Rei joked.
