Dressed in his Royal Guard uniform and cap, and Master Sword strapped to his back, Link stood before the King of Hyrule. Link had explained in full detail, down to the quarter-day, their plans and itinerary across Hyrule, and the locations they planned to rest.

The King nodded along as Zelda listened carefully, only knowing the larger details, as Link explained the final destinations leading to the Spring of Wisdom. The king nodded and opened his palm, Link eagerly handing him a sealed version of their schedule. He was glad he had made a few extra copies, only needing to hand them to important people who would need to know the Princess' whereabouts throughout their 2 week excursion out into the country.

"Sir Link, will you require any extra protection at any checkpoints?" The King asked, taking a look at the bulleted points of the major destinations and days.

"Only entering Zora's domain, Your Majesty. According to reports, there have been more Lizalfos and Wizrobes spotted between Inogo Bridge and Ruto Lake." The King nodded and closed the letter. A few moments of silence passed before the King looked at Zelda.

"You will send me a letter every few days, confirming you have arrived at each destination safely." He then turned to Link. "And I wish for a report to be sent to the General regarding monsters and Yiga sightings as well." Link nodded. "If you arrive at a new destination early or decide to jump ahead of the schedule, do inform us as soon as possible so the guard can be at Inogo bridge at the time of your arrival."

He stashed the letter away on his person and soon dismissed the guards and Zelda away. Soon the room only had the King and Link. A heavy silence fell between them as the King eyed Link for a moment, eye contact unbreaking. "Sir Link, I understand you feel deeply for my daughter. You are to remember that her protection comes first before all." He stood and came to stand before Link. "I have allowed you both to do as you please, with limitations of course," Link's cheeks dusted a light pink at the very detailed conversation he had previously had with the King concerning the forbidding of very adult activities. "One slip or scratch on my daughter and that privilege will be revoked, do you understand?"

Link saluted and stood firm, "Yes, your Majesty."

The king sighed and turned back towards his throne. "Her sealing abilities must be unlocked soon, whatever means necessary. We cannot allow Calamity Ganon to return and wreak havoc on this land. I hope you both stay focused on your mission, Sir Link." The King's tone softened when he said the knight's name.

"We will, Your Majesty." Link assured him, his tone less formal.

"Just know, I do not wish to lose either of you." The King said, turning his head to partially face Link. "You are dismissed, Sir Link. I wish you luck and good fortune on your journey in the morning."

Link stayed for a short moment. "Thank you, Your Majesty." Slowly, he turned on his heel and left the King to his own business.

The next morning, Link stood with Zelda near the main gate of the castle, checking both their packs to make sure they had everything. "Terrako?" A little beep came out from behind them. Terrako jumped from the ground into the little seat they had custom made for the little robot guardian. Zelda had insisted he come for research purposes.

They had food, they had change of clothes, they had a tent, flint and stationary. "Let's get going, We might be able to make it to the Garrison if we leave now." Link told them as he helped Zelda onto her horse. He had planned to have a mostly leisure ride through Castle town, Mabe Village and then a faster trip through the fields where they'd arrive at the Hyrule Garrison. "If it isn't too late, we'll go stay at the Outskirt Stable further ahead, but it should be close to nightfall when we arrive at the Garrison." He informed her. She nodded and strapped her boots into the saddle
