Zelda woke up first, a bit earlier than mid-day. She was surprised Link was still sleeping. She didn't need to check, she could hear him snoring very quietly in the bed next to hers. She let out a soft chuckle before hopping out of bed and leaving the stable. The clerk waved her good morning and watched her stretch and move around the fencing. She'd eventually found her way to the horses, who were grazing behind the stable in the pen.

Her royal mare stood out, as he was supposed to, with his gorgeous white coat while the others were spotted, fully brown and even a beautiful black mare. She watched them trot along, eat and even roll in the grass.

She whistled softly and watched Storm perk up from the grass, looking around before finally setting his sights on his owner. He came over slowly to the fencing and poked his head out towards her. "You've been a good boy?" She let him sniff her hand before petting along his face. A small puff of air came out of its nostril and blew into Zelda's face. She laughed before pulling a treat out of her pocket. "I'm sure you've been a great boy." She let him eat out of her open hand before petting it once more and leaving to return to the stable.

She looked out to the forest, admiring the green scenery along with the Gerudo Canyon opening. It wasn't everyday that she saw views like this, so she took out her Sheikah slate and opened the camera function and snapped a picture. She went to the gallery and clicked on the picture, admiring the quality of the technology. Then something caught her eye.

"What is that?" She asked herself, looking at the small glowing point behind the trees, but not quite in the canyon. She looked up from the slate and focused, moving her head around the trees in the distance. She could barely see the glow with her eyes, but the Slate had caught it clearly.

She bit her lip and looked back at the inside of the stables, seeing Link still sleeping, his head resting on the wrong end of the bed. She looked back at the forest and tentatively took a step towards it. "What he doesn't know won't hurt him, right?" She whispered to herself, attaching the slate to her waist and leaving the safe fencing of the stables and walking into the small forest across.

She kept an eye out, constantly turning around at the slightest sound, cricket, wind and even leaves rustling. She'd enjoy 10 minutes without being attacked, so why not venture not too far away?

Creeping towards the light, she began moving a bit faster, turning directions and going around trees until she was at the base of the canyon walls. The glowing ball was nestled a bit out of reach, laying flat in a hole it had dug when probably crashing into it. She felt the wall for areas to grip her hands and feet and began scaling carefully a couple of metres up before stopping at the glowing ball. It was spiky, and emitted a yellow glow. She could feel magic pulsing from the item, but she had never seen anything like it before.

Carefully, she released one hand from the wall, applying more force to the other to keep herself from falling, and pulled the piece out of the canyon wall.

'Didn't think it'd be warm... But it feels nice.' She looked around a place on her person before realising she had nowhere to put it. Taking the sheikah slate needed two hands and she clearly wasn't going to try that one handed on a canyon wall. She sighed and dropped it, watching it fall gently into the grass below. "Now get yourself down." She told herself, looking around for a foot hold. She found herself frozen in place, seeing none and not wanting to accidentally miss one either. 'That's way too far down to jump...' She found herself unable to move her limbs. She let her head hit the wall, knowing she looked dumb. Link was going to think she was stupid or something.

She wasn't sure how long she had been up on the wall, her legs were starting to hurt and her fingers were wanting to give out, and all she could do to relieve the pain was move out hand and squeeze it before switching to the other occasionally.
