Abby pov:
it was about a month after me and luke got married and one day I got a call from the hospital Tommy passed in and freaked out
I answered and told me Mark was now in there. i told them id be there soon. after hanging up, I told luke what happened and left, to see my dad.
------at the hospital----
I found his room and walked in. he turned to look at me and smiled
"hey abbs" he said, holding his hand out. i walked over and took his hand and smiled through the tears
"don't be sad Abby... please?" he said rubbing circles on my hand
"I don't want to lose you too dad..." I said, tears still rolling down my face
"I know and I hate that I'm leaving but I have the same mindset when we lost tommy. We made the best out of the time we had together and now both me and your dad get to watch over you, watching you live your life." he said, his voice getting weaker by the minute.
"I love you dad. say hi to him for me" was the last thing I said to him before he passed. i kissed his hand just like he did to tom when he passed
