filming had been going by smoothly. it also marked two weeks since the party...and since keleigh's coldness had blossomed again towards kaia. that night, kaia didn't associate too much with miles. she kept a safe distance towards them. in fact, she had been doing an amazing job at keeping their interactions to a minimum. why? well, miles brought his girlfriend to set. every single day. kaia knew she shouldn't care about his girlfriend and just be the bad bitch she was, but she couldn't do it. it would bring too much ache to her chest.

now, kaia was getting her makeup done in the make up trailers. she had her navy uniform on, and a black drape to protect any makeup from falling on it. the trailer was lively, loud music was blaring and tarzan was busting some moves on the other side of the trailer.

cassie the make-up artist was catching up with kaia.

"so, my love, have you been in the dating game lately?" cassie asked kindly, while putting powder on her face.

kaia chuckled, "no, i've been busy."

"you know, if i had your looks, i would be making every guy that bats an eyelash at me beg for my attention, sweets," laughed cassie's, kaia joining in.

"don't give her ideas, cassie," glen walked by, sitting in the chair next to kaia waiting his turn. "you know i'm the only one for her," he winked.

kaia rolled her eyes. this man and his winking.

"don't worry, glen," cassie laughed. "i'll tell miles that for ya.."

kaia and glen went wide eyed. cassie paused, noticing the stiffening movements from the two.

"um.." glen coughed.

"cassie..." kaia started.

"oh? i'm sorry, honey. was i not supposed to say something? i just noticed the particular attention that he and yourself have been giving each other lately. that's all," shrugged cassie.

kaia shared a look with glen. glen shrugged.

"no, no it's okay," said kaia. "i don't like miles that way," kaia nervously laughed. hoping it was enough to deter the conversation. glen chuckled.

cassie carried on with the makeup job. not believing anything kaia was spitting out.

"what scenes do you have today, kaia?" asked tarzan, once he finished his britney spears ensemble.

"um, i know we have the hard deck scene. then i have some with miles," said kaia, while flipping through her script.

she had some scenes with miles to establish the relationship that sparks and rooster had. they had to make it so their love was still blossoming. what they didn't know was that the directors had not given them the script that included a time skip to bradley bradshaw and lara moore's wedding. that would happen at the end of the movie.

"well, gear up for me acting like an asshole," glen winked at them through the mirror, making everyone laugh. it was hard to admit, but glen was perfectly cast as hangman.

"okay, kaia dear. you're ready," cassie smiled, taking the drape off her neck and letting her stand up.

kaia looked so into character. sparks didn't wear her hair in a sleek bun like phoenix, but two braids down the sides of her face coming into one low ponytail.

"thanks, cassie. you always do the best," kaia smiled at the lady who moved on to glen.

after cassie accepted it, kaia said bye to her cast mates and headed to get her script from the actors lounge.
