Authors note: This chapter contains, loss of sleep, loss of appetite and low mental and physical help. If you are struggling from any of these please know you are not alone. English is also not my first language so i truly apologize for lack of grammar. Thank you for reading and I hope you like my first book.
More important note:
This is a rewrite, I enjoyed how this turned out, I'll probably be doing the same for the others who share the same concept on which don't separate dialogue. But I hope you sort of like this rewrite?

The chalk on the blackboard glided across the wall. As he finished jotting down notes, his mind was clogged.
His hands sweated, causing for him to drop the chalk.
He stared as the chalk flew to the ground. As soon as the chalk fell he grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly. He felt cold and nauseous, probably looking pale.
He stumbled as he walked towards the doorknob, twisting it open as his vision went dark. He swung the door open as he collapsed on the ground ultimately falling asleep.—-
Madeleine was sent to Espressos home, honestly out of the blue. He was sent by Gingerbrave out of plain worry. He had seen him working from his window for full hours without a stop, Madeleine informed Gingerbrave and then he was sent to send him food and some help.
Putting it in that way Espresso sounded insane, but that wasn't the case (Hopefully).
He stopped by the bakery, already knowing what he'd probably get. Maybe he wasn't that useless.—-
As soon as he woke up, he sat up and rubbed his eyes. He glanced at the wall, slowly rising up. He grabbed the wall, creeping towards the kitchen. He opened his fridge to find it empty. The only thing left being butter. He looked around and noticed he had a slice of bread left. As he walked towards the bread he examined it, scrutinizing it up and down. He decided he couldn't and chose to just go to his room.
As his stomach ached he kept walking towards his room until he heard a doorbell. He looked at the door and back at his room.Who would be knocking at my door at such a late hour ?
As he approached the door the knocks kept getting louder and louder. As he opened the door there stood a man. A familiar man.
Espresso rubbed his eyes as the man suddenly spoke, "Hello Espresso! Are you doing alright?"The tall man beamed.
"What is it now?"
Espresso replied, crossing his arms in subtle hatred.
"My friend please do not be upset, I was sent to undertake a wellness check!"
Madeleine grinned, showing his gratitude through his hand motioning.
Espresso rolled his eyes and responded
"Well I am quite busy. I have stuff to do. Do you mind?"
"I wanted to deliver these donuts as well. Please do take them."
Madeleine insisted, shoving the baked goods into his face.
Espresso hesitated.
I am quite hungry. But I mustn't take food from Madeleine.
"I must decline."
Espresso replied, awkwardly laughing.
Its just food.
Madeleine frowned as he held out the box to Espresso.
"It shouldn't hurt to just see..."
Espresso muttered under his breath.
"Hmm?"
Madeleine hummed.
"Oh no, nothing."
Espresso mumbled.
"I must say Espresso you look quite tired. Have you gotten any rest at all?"
Madeleine innocently asked. Espresso paused.
I did. I think? I'm sure I did.
"Of course I did."
Espressos voice cracked, indicating slight nervousness in that statement.
Espresso immediately covered his mouth and gazed his eyes away. Madeleine laughs.
"May I come in?"
Madeleine asks.
"Oh- Oh yes of cou-"
Madeleine walks inside as Espresso inches behind. Madeleine smiles as Espresso sits down on the couch.
Madeleine stood up, watching Espresso open the donut box as if it were a Christmas present.
As he opens it up he pauses,"Would you like to sit down?"
He asks, regretting it shortly after.
"Espresso, are you alright? You look horribly pale."
Madeleine asks urgently, putting the back of his hand on his forehead, as if he were checking for a fever.
"Don't worry, everything is under perfect control."
Espresso reassured, grabbing Madeleines hand off his forehead.
Madeleine watches as Espresso took a bite of the donut. His face almost immediately lit up. He took a few more bites before setting it down.
"Madeleine, do you mind if I ask who sent you?" Espresso questions in between bits on the donuts.
Madeleine sighs,
"Gingerbrave did. Strawberry and Wizard cookie have been horribly worried about you, so they asked Gingerbrave to send someone. I'm glad to see you alright."
Madeleine smiles.
Espresso looked away and took a few more bites before grabbing another one."You're eating like you haven't eaten in forever, are you okay?" Madeleine asks.
"Wait! That sounded a bit callous."
Madeleine stammered.
"You're fine Madeleine."
Espresso reassuringly told him.
"I don't have any more food left, that's it though. I've been focusing on my studies."
Espresso responds.
Madeleine gasps and asks
"When have you last eaten?"
"I don't recall."
Madeleine covers his mouth and takes Espresso hand and heads for the door.
"Wait! My cape."
Espresso breaks loose from Madeleines grip and hurrying to put on his cape. Madeleine walks over to him and grabs his arm and starts walking outside. The moment the sun hit Espressos glasses he gasped. As he covered his eyes Madeleine slows down.
"You alright?"
Madeleine asks.
"I'm quite fine, let's keep moving."
Espresso asks rushing him. He longed to be outside, it wasn't that all that bad.
"Why do you bring your cape everywhere."
"It's just sentimental."
