He began unloading onto the air balloon, setting Latte down carefully. He looked around and noticed a cookie waving towards him. He squinted and realized it was Cardamom. He smiled back and the air balloon ascended. He stared off into the sky, knowing Madeleine was probably still out there. He felt as if it were his fault. If he were to never accept his invitation this wouldn't have happened. If he were to have gone with Taiyaki he would've been fine. He scrunched his nose before pulling out his notebook. He hastily took out a pen and began writing todays experience.

5:00 AM - Sleepless
He closed his notebook as he noticed he started seeing land below. He stared down at the wonderful place. It was gorgeous. Mesmerizing even. The complimentary colors just fit so right together. He would never admit that though. He feels slightly sad that he wasn't able to stay there anymore. The prices were terrif- his glasses slid off his nose bridge. His eyes widened as he shoved his hand out, which missed. He used his small portion of magic in order to bring it back up towards him. He sighed, relief. Espresso watched as the air balloon lowered to the ground. He looked around to see dozens of citizens. he sighed as he picked up a still fast asleep Latte, also gathering his belongings. He stepped off the balloon and started heading towards the Lower City. He hurriedly began walking, visibly sweating. He sped walked until he had bumped into someone. "Oh-" Espresso began before realizing who it was. "Oh, Espresso! I see Madeleine was correct." "Hello Clotted Cream Cookie, also, what was Madeleine right about?" "He said you were arriving sometime around 6, as I see now he was right." Clotted Cream shook hands with Espresso as he slightly pulled his hand back. "Oh. Espresso. You are incredibly warm. Are you alright? Who is in your arms? Why are you carrying a bag? What is going on?" Clotted asked, concerned. "I must not explain now, I need to hurry." "Are you sure you are alright? I mean you ar-" "I am fine Clotted Cream. Thank you for your concern." Espresso hurried through the crowd, heading downwards. Espresso turned to see a few Elders speaking to each other near a stand. He swiftly hid his identity and kept walking. He looked down in order not be seen before someone had walked in front of him. "Hey! You! You seem worthy. How do you feel ab-" Espresso walked off rushing towards the more lower areas. He had made it to the bottom before spotting the tent. He smiled before running towards the tent. As we walked up a cookie had immersed from the tent. "Oh... Hello Espresso Cookie..!" She spoke. "Ah yes, hello. I must ask for a favor." "Again? I must say you are quite the chase..." "It's not for a chase this time." "Then who are those..?" Espresso turned to see multiple guards running after him. Espresso spoke hastily, "May you carry her? I appreciate it." Espresso dropped her into her arms before running to an open area. The guards ran up to him. The guards leapt towards him as he began his whirlpool of espresso. All guards swarmed into the same place before exploding into various directions leaving the guards stunned. Espresso ran into the tent, forcing it shut with a few coffee beans. Seaweed Cookie was waiting for him in there. "Espresso... What was the favor you ask of me..?" "May you take care of Latte? Remember, the girl who would always run up to me randomly. From a very while back." "Oh yes... I recall... I suppose I can..." "I must hurry. I have plans to pursue." "Not even a thank you..? Oh Espresso you are no different..." "I- Thank you." Espresso ran outside and tripped into the mud. Espresso gagged before standing up, attempting to shove big pieces off. He looked up to see a cookie laughing at him. Espresso covered his face as he got towards the dock. He began walking upwards as he sees the cookie. "Oh jeez! That was absolutely hilarious! Hey, did you get that?" Espresso turned to see the cookie speaking to another. "You bet I did!" The small cookie spoke. "Hey, you! The... uhh brownie! Check this out." The cookie held out his phone as it played him falling into the mud. "Haha. Hilarious.." Espresso slightly grit his teeth as the cookies bursted into laughter. "Hey... Who are you anyways? Seems like the Consul knows you!" "I hail from a small kingdom. My name is Espresso." "Expresso?" "ESS presso." " "Ezpresso." "ESS presso!" "Espresso." "Spot on." The cookie glared at him. "Who might you two be?" Espresso spoke, he knew he didn't have time at all. But he was feeling benevolent today. "I'm Nutmeg, mostly known as nut... But this is-" "I'm Walnut!" The cookie nudged at the other as she laughed. "Hmm. I think I've heard of you..." "Wait! From that letter!" Nutmeg pulled out a letter and read a bit out loud.
"I met someone named Espresso... He was pretty cool. Reminded me of you a bit."
"Ohh! So I remind her of you... Cringe." He spoke. Espresso was starting to lose it, ever so slightly. "You should get going. She told me you seemed in a rush." "She was right. I must head off." He walked off without another word before he had thrown a paper at his head. He turned back as he snickered. Espresso picked it up, shoving it in his pocket before throwing three coffee beans at his forehead. He shuddered as he held his forehead. He frowned as Espresso walked off, Espresso ran towards the air balloon and stopped for air. He panted as he realized someone was running towards him at light speeds. What?
