Chapter 11

Me and my brother were listening to Flower Boy by Tyler the Creator while I was writing this :)

The boys went to the 7-11 to go get snacks and monsters. The car ride there was the happiest George has been in a while. The laughter of the boys in the car was back, the overly sexual jokes Quackity would make at the worst times, and best of all. Dream was holding his hand. That was something George always thought was cool, driving with one hand, I mean, it was pretty simple to do, he still thought it was really awesome. "Sooo are you to like, a thing now?"Karl asked from the backseat, George looked at Dream, he gave an unexplainable look to him, George looked towards the back of the car and shrugged. "Honestly, I don't know, we kinda just realized that we liked each other until, honestly that emo chick. So gotta admit, hoping she's there so I can thank her." George said, laughing at the end of his sentence, Dream was silent after he said that. George immediately noticed his silence. He looked at Dream and smiled at him. Sorry  George mouthed to Dream. "Dream! Eyes on the road not Gogs!" Sapnap said from the back of the car, noticing that Dream was beginning to swerve, "AA, SORRY!" Dream said, getting his balence on the road back, the trip was a few minutes more of just silence before George decided to put on some music, he grabbed Dream's phone to put on a song, "Oh God George, what are you doing?" Dream said in an almost concerned voice, "Music dumbass." George said as he touched the button on Dream's phone, then the song Custer by Slipknot came on, Dream wheezed, "DUDE WHAT??" Dream said still laughing, "ITS MUSIC SOMETHING YOU WOULDN'T KNOW ABOUT!" George yelled back. "HEY! MY MUSIC TASTE IS SLAYING." Dream said taking one hand off his steering wheel to point at George. "DUDE ALL YOU LISTEN TO IS YOUR SHIT SONGS!" George yelled back laughing. Dream gasped in offence and put his hand on his chest. "THE AUDACITY." Dream said. "But like, genuinely, since when do you listen to Slipknot George?" Karl asked from the back of the car. "I don't really know to be honest? I just heard it on tiktok and liked it, "Karl nodded his head then looked up and smiled. They had arrived at the 7-11 and Karl practically immediately jumped out of the car, as everyone  got out George stood there for a few seconds staring at the store, he felt someone grip his hand, he looked over and it was Dream. "Hey, are you alright George?" Dream asked, looking into his eyes, George sighed and smiled. "Of course.." He didn't want to admit he didn't want to be here. He knew the chances of the girl being here were very very low, it's just. He still couldn't believe Dream loved him without pity or any other reason. "Are you sure?" Dream said softly. George hugged Dream, resting his head in Dream's chest. "Yes i'm okay.." George said softly, "Are you tired George..?" Dream said, cupping George's face. George made a small humming noise while slightly nodding his head. Dream laughed softly, "I can tell, you know, when you're tired your accent gets really heavy." Dream said smiling.  George couldn't help but smile back, this was almost like a dream, he still couldn't believe this was real..  "Well, lets go, the others are probably waiting," George said, grabbing Dream's hand and walking into the store.

Dream's POV

I walked into the store holding George's hand, he felt just like I had imagined, We had been friends for years, we had just never met before this trip, it all didn't feel real, like this was all one realistic dream, like I could wake up any second and everything would be normal again, A/N: this is a refrence to me irl, sometimes it feels like i could wake up tomorrow and it would be like, Summer of 2021 again. One of the best times of my life. We got into the store and George ran over to the drink section while I went and picked up candy, as I was looking at the shelves, trying to remember what everyone's favourite candy was, when I got a snap notification, It was from Kelly. I forgot I had added her on snap earlier. Shit... Shit, Shit SHIT I thought as i looked at my phone, I thought it would be best to begin a conversation with her, and tell her that I wasn't interested, I knew she was clearly attracted to me, but I just didn't want to fuck things up with George. I opened the snap and it was a photo of her laying on what I assumed to be her  bed, in noting but her bra. The image made me overly uncomfortable, so i just sent a photo of my emerald-green eye and nothing else. I didn't want to hint where I was. The next notification was her taking a screenshot. I was so confused at what she could've been screenshotting, but then it hit me, I had my snapmap on. I sat there in shock and fear for a few seconds, questioning what I should do, When i felt a hand on my shoulder, breaking me out of my trance, "Yo, Clay, are you good?" I heard Sapnap say beside me. I felt an odd feeling in my chest, it was fear, my breathing got gradually getting faster, I felt tears begin to trickle down my face, as I slowly collapsed to the floor, I felt Nick sit me up up start talking to me, I couldn't hear what he was saying though, I could hear Nick begin yelling and I saw blurs of colour, which I could make out to be Karl, Alex, and George. I felt George hug me and start whispering things to me, I still couldn't hear what, but I could feel him start to slowly stroke my hair, which made me feel a little tired, My vision went really blurry, and next thing I knew.

I fainted.

I woke up sitting in George's lap, hugged by the warm embrace of his arms. Slightly confused at where I was I sat up in George's lap and looked around. Right.. I'm here..  My thoughts were a little fuzzy, but not like they would normally. I  felt Sapnap put his hand on my arm,  "Hey, Clay, what happened?" I heard him say. I wanted to respond but it felt like I couldn't. I tried picking up my phone but dropped it, It was weird, Why was I almost acting like a child? Sapnap looked at me and picked up my phone, he unlocked it and put it down in front of me, "Can you point at what happened bud..?" Sapnap said in a very soft tone. I pointed at snap and clicked it, I pointed at Kelly's snap and he looked at me, "Is that the girl from earlier?" He asked I nodded, "I don't understand, what's the problem?" I heard Karl ask from behind Sapnap, I still couldn't speak, I tried talking but all I could get out was "map" Sapnap tilted his head to the side slightly, When I saw Karl put his hand on Sapnap's shoulder, "Nick..." Karl said quietly, Sapnap turned around slightly to look at Karl, "His snapmap.." As Karl said this they heard the store door chime, "Oh, Clayyyy....~" A familiar voice called out.
