Bella's POV:

"I still don't understand why she has to tag along? Can't she see it's a friend's night" I rolled my eyes applying a coat of mascara on my lashes.

"Bell, not this again" came Lydia's warning from right behind me applying gloss over her lips.

Currently we were both huddled up in the restroom of my hotel suite getting ready for our night out.

"Tell me why are we getting ready here instead of at my place again?" Lydia asked for the second time.

"Cause the bar is much closer and I have to be back for my meeting early in the morning" I sent her a flying kiss through the mirror whilst she just shook her head at my antics.

"You could just stay over at my place Bell" her voice held seriousness and I lifted my head to look at her through the mirror.

"Lye we've had this discussion before, I can't take that risk. Not again" The sentence was barely a whisper but I'm sure she heard it. She didn't pester me any more though for which I was thankful.

After finishing my makeup, I went up to the wardrobe to inspect my options. Deciding that It'd just be easier to ask Lye as always, I strutted over to her, carrying both the dresses.

"Ohkay so which one" I asked her looking cluelessly at both of them.

She raised her eyes to look at them for a second but then continued on with her makeup.

"The midnight blue one, it'll bring out your eyes with the sort of makeup you've done" but before I could turn around, she quickly added "Also remind me to take you shopping sometime soon" her glossy lips rose into a smirk as I flipped her off.

"Are you done yet? They'll be arriving in 5 mins" I asked her stuffing my essentials into my clutch.

She walked out in a midi black bodycon dress, her hair curled to perfection whilst carrying a pair of stilettos causing me to whistle.

"The amount to attention you're gonna get tonight makes me want to not take you out. It's not too late to cancel and just have a girl's night in what say" I winked at her whilst she swatted me away too focused on slipping her heels on.

"You wound me" I said dramatically causing her to chuckle.

"Come on they'll be here any second" she said grabbing her clutch and pulling me along.

"I still don't get why she has to be there; you know what we should do we should set her up with someone else" my bright idea didn't seem too bright to her as she had a blank expression but nonetheless a smile crept on her face.

-----------

Lydia's POV:

It was the most awkward car ride of my entire life. During the whole ride Bella wasn't happy to see Gemma on the passenger seat and she wasn't entirely subtle about it as well. Firstly, when we walked out, she kept glaring at her till I literally dragged her to the back. Then she blasted Taylor swifts 'I knew you were trouble when you walked in' and made it a point to scream 'trouble trouble' in her ears. At this point I really did feel sorry for the poor girl.
When we reached the venue, she all but ran inside. Mason hot on her tail.

-----------

It was supposed to be a friend's night out just like old times but we lost Mason and Gemma as soon as we stepped into the bar. It was crowded considering it was still a weekday but not too crowded to make one uncomfortable.
