Chapter 12

*DING DONG DING DONG*

Ashton didn't answer the door. I Ring the bell again this time ongoing.

*DING DING DING DING DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG*

Yet he still did not answer!

I walked into the lift and pressed Ground floor .

As I was about to step out of the lift a familiar soothing scent approached me. I looked up to find Ash.

"Hey-"
I slapped him before he could say anything else.

"What the fuck was that for!?" He snapped while holding his face in pain.

"My mother has chucked me out! And it's all your fault!" I shrieked

The lift doors began to close and Ashton almost got stuck in them as he was still stood between them.

He quickly squeezed through managing to end up pressed up against me...

He early did it on purpose as there was only two other people in there and the lift wasn't even small.

"Let's talk when we get to my floor." He says in a much calmer voice.

"I have nothing good left! I'm stuck with you and this stupid thing!!" I point to my stomach where there is a small bumb which is difficult to see.

He grabs my writs tightly "It's our baby" he mumbles in a firm voice. I saw his jaw clenching like he was about to burst.

We stood in a horrible silence as the stupid lift music was playing.

A small child who was with his Dad was intensively staring at us which made me want to punch him! His dad clearly read my mind and said: "We'll give you two some space" and got off at the next floor.

It felt like we had been in this lift for ages but we were only a few floors up.

I moved away from Ashton and stood in the corner of the lift. He glares at me with his memorizing eyes which I can't help but feel a little love towards even though I've never hated him so much and the way he is looking at me makes me think he has as much hatred towards me for slapping and embarrassing him in front of people.

Bing

The lift doors opened.

"Ladies first" he stands back

I push past him. There was plenty of space but I just wanted him to see how pisses I am with him.

As I stand there with my arms folded across my chest, he unlocks the door...

"I'm sorry." He flops on to his sofa.

"Sorry doesn't make up anything!"

He stands up again. Looking at me and biting his lip, he walks towards me.

His face looked so soppy; his eyes had a twinkle and his fluffy hair flopping over his face.

As he combs his hair back, he stands about 3 inches from my face. He slowly moves in for a kiss but I push him away. - yes his is irresistible but he has fucked my life up!

"I can help you. We can do this together." He whispers in my left ear.

I remain quiet.

I'm afraid. But I don't know what of. Maybe it's the future? Maybe it's the baby? Maybe it's him?

Ashton's POV.

I try to read what she is thinking but it's so difficult. I see her pain and I wish I could understand it more so I can know what to say. I want to be with her and help raise this baby. Being in 5sos would make it difficult because of the media. Everything and everyone would have something to say about us.

She eventually goes and sit down. I join her. I honestly just want to fix all those enraged thoughts and replace them with the positive ones.

"I-" she pauses

I wait for her to continue

"I don't know what to do anymore." Her voice cracks.

I put my arm around her.

"Just don't think about the future or past... Focus on the present moment. Just let it flow. We'll work it out together." I say assuring her.

She looks at me with her glassy eyes.

She wraps her arms around my neck and I kiss her forehead.

"NO! I-I-I CAN'T!" All of a sudden she jumps up off the chair struggling to find her words.

"But wait-!" I try to stop her from running out but she was too quick!

Shit!
