Ashton's POV
I open my door, expecting to be greeted by just Gemma but no... Gemma and that woman who asked me for a picture and took forever. Had something happened?
"Gemma are you ok?"
"Yeah." She bites her lip
"Hi, You probably remember me from earlier. I was that woman who-"
"Stopped me for a picture" I finished her sentence and smiled, she smiled back.
"Ash. Ashton. This is -" she plays with her fingers
"Her mum" the woman interrupted
"Oh! What a way to meet" I try to smile but I'm in slight shock.
"Your very handsome" she complements me
I laugh while Gemma looks embarrassed.
I reach my hand out to shake Gemma's mums hand and she accepts.
"My name is Katherine, but you Can call me Kat" Her mum blushes
"Nice to meet you Kat" I look at Gemma who now has her head in her hands.
"Let's go inside" Gemma finally says.
We go inside.
"Let's talk" Her mum sits down making herself comfortable
"Baby business?" I say
"Yes" she continues " have you kept it?"
I look at Gemma expecting her to answer but she stands there quietly.
"Yes. Well that's what I know" I say
"Gemma?"
"Yes, its still here" she rubs her stomach
"Drink?" I ask
"Ah, Do you have Champagne?"
"Mum! You never have Champagne! Why now?"
"Well, I may as well take full advantage of you boyfriends status and money shan't I?"
"Mum!" She glares at her mum .
"I'll get it" I wink at Gemma as I pass her
When I come back, I find Gemma's mother, Kat, Emptying her bag with baby magazines .
"So I have a lot of plans" she starts
"No mum. No! Your going way to far! Please just go, leave! Give it time. Come back next month or something!"
"Well next months seems pretty far away-" her mother said as Gemma begun to show her out of the door.
Before I knew it, the door was closed and it was just me and Gemma.
Gemma's POV
That was so embarrassing! Why would my mum just turn up like that? At least she's gone now. Time to talk about our new issue with publicity.
"Ashton" I say
"Yeah?" He replies still standing opposite me
"I need to talk to you" I say
"I need to talk to you too" he walks closer to me
Shit what is it? What if he wants to dump me or something?
"You first" I insist
"No you" he moves closer to my face
I breathe in deep and breathe out slow taking in his beautiful cent.
"Everyone knows about me. Me and you. Us. Soon they find out about my pregnancy and -" he places his finger on my lips to stop me talking
"I'll sort that out. Don't worry. If you want I'll say we're together. But we can make up some other expiation" he says.
"Okay" I whisper
He kisses me.
"My turn" he says
"5SOS are going on tour" he announces
I'm speachless. If I wasn't with Ashton, I'd be starting to save my money to buy tickets...I'd sell a kidney if I had to! But that's not the case, he'll be gone.
"For how long?" I ask
"Nearly a year" he replies
How will I cope alone with the baby? It'll be born before he gets back!
"W-w-wh" is all I could get out before a bulge forms in my throat, my face heats up, my heart palpitating, my hands shaking. Panic attack. I push away from him heading for a seat. Feeling dizzy and sick.
"Are you okay?"
I don't reply
He grabs my shoulders and says gently "I'm trying my best to think of a resolution. The best I can think of is that you tag along with us. The boys won't mind. They really liked you. Luke had a slight crush to be honest-"
"Stop talking" I say trying to gasp for air in panic
He touches my cheek to reassure me that I'm okay.
"We have two week breaks between each location we go to... We'll get time together then....plus if you do come with us, you get free passes to out shows" he grins
"I thought I told you to shut up" I smirk
"Well you said be quiet but-"
I kiss him .
"So will you come on tour with me?"
"Yes" I whisper
He hugs me tight and holds me there for a while.
*knock knock*
"Hello? Can I come back in now" it was my mum
"Oh fuck" I say to Ashton
"No it hasn't been a month yet!" I shout to her
Then it falls silent.
