Great. New school, new people to absolutely fucking hate. I can already tell this school year is going to suck ass. For one, it's already halfway through the school year and two, I've already been crucified by these two stupid jocks for no apparent reason other than the way I was dressed. Like sorry I have an actual fashion sense and don't wear a stupid ass jersey every single day.

So far my classes suck too. Nobody has even tried to talk to me so I had to rush around in between classes to find out where to go to next.

I turn around a coner and bump into someone causing both of us to drop our books.

"Shit! I'm so sorry."

"It's okay," We both bend down and start picking up our books.

"I'm Dustin."

"Y/n, sorry again."

"Don't worry! See you later Y/n."

"See you."

"HEY Y/N?!"

I turn around and see Dustin and some other guy running up to me.

"Hey what's up!"

"We need someone to fill in for Hellfire night, can you do it?"

"What's Hellfire?"

They explain what it is then tell me everyone who's in the party.

"Do I get a cool shirt?"

"Absolutely!!!"

"Okay, I'm in."

"Yes!" He hugs me, "You just saved us. Meet us after school?"

"Okay."

"Oh and this is Mike!"

Finally school is over. I walk out the front doors and see Dusting, that kid Mike and the others all wearing Hellfire shirts.

I walk up to them.

"Who are you?"

"I'm-"

"This is Y/n!! They're standing in for Lucas tonight."

"Wow, I would have never thought somone as cute as them would ever be into D&D, hey I'm Eddie but you can call me whatever you want." He puts his hand out for me to shake it.

I smile, the tips of my ears turning slightly red from his remarks, putting my hand out and shaking his.

"Oh here Y/n, I grabbed my extra hellfire shirt from my locker for you."

"Oh sweet!" Dustin hands me the shirt.

"Come on!! We can all set up the game while you change into your new shirt."

"Sounds good!"

We walk back into a different part of the highschool. I make a turn for the first bathroom I see. I quickly change then walk out seeing Eddie waiting for me.

"Right this way."

I smile and follow him.

"You're new here right?"

"What was your first hint?"

"Well, your face is very hard to forget or either you've somehow stayed off my radar or you're new."

We get into the room and start playing.

We beat Vecna!!

We all run out of the school, jumping around and hugging each other while cheering. When me and Eddie hug I feel sparks all over my body.

"Hey you want to come back to my trailer and have an after party for your first time playing with a new party?"

"Sure, is Dusting coming with."

"Do you want him to?"

I can tell this school year is going to be great. A new party, actual friends who care.
