"Nooo come back." He whines. Eddie is sick and who can be here full time to take care of him? Me. Of course I don't mind but sometimes he makes me feel bad. He gets really clingy when he's sick so when I try to get him food or more water he tells me to not leave him and it beaks my heart each time.

He always does the same for me when I'm sick and if I'm honest I'm more needy than he is when I'm sick. I hate people seeing me throw up so I'll yell for him to get out but then I'll yell for him to come cuddle me because I feel discusting.

"Eddie I have to pee and get you more water, I promise I'll be back.

When I bring him his water he's past out again so I set the water by him before heading back out into the living room. After a few minutes the phone starts to ring, I get to it as fast as I can. I really hope this didn't wake him up, he may be sick but has the ears and nose of a hound.

"Munson residence, how can I help you?"

"Hey Y/n, how's he doing?"

"As clingy as ever but otherwise fine and asleep. How's work so far Wayne?"

"Stupid but bearable, I just wanted to check in. Thank you for taking care of him, I really appreciate it."

"Of course!! I'm always just a call away."

"Y/n?!"

"Was that Eddie?"

"Yep, I gotta go, see you later tonight!"

I hang up and rush back towards Eddies room.

"What happened?"

"I wanted you to cuddle me and what happens? I wake up and am not being cuddled."

"Oh no you poor poor baby."

I smile and lay down by him. Thankfully his fever has gone down by a lot, hopefully it's back to normal by now.

"Thank you for putting my hair up for me."

"Of course baby, you have to get the cold washcloth to sink in somehow. It's easier if your hair is up plus if you get sick it's out of the way."

He sighs, "I love you so much."

"I love you too."

He grabs my hand and closes his eyes, slowly but surely drifting off to sleep again. Hopefully this time he'll wake up on his own accord.
