Meeting Alice

In the harbor bar, the calm atmosphere was disrupted by the sound of rushing footsteps and a person bursting in, yelling at the top of their lungs. The bar owner, who had been serving drinks to the crew, froze when they heard the commotion, their eyes widening in alarm. With lightning speed, they darted out of the bar, leaving Nami and her crew mates bewildered.

Luffy, who had been lost in thought, suddenly felt a pang of urgency, drawing him towards the door. He bolted after the bar owner, followed closely by Zoro and Usopp. Nami and Sanji were also quickly on their heels, determined to find out what had caused the commotion.

Upon reaching the source of the commotion, they found themselves in the middle of a crowd of desperate villagers, who were pleading with the girl to stay. The girl, standing in the center of the commotion, seemed unfazed by the commotion, her striking beauty drawing the attention of everyone around her.

"Please, big sis! You can't leave us just yet!!" yelled one villager's child.

"Yea! Just stay a little longer! Please", echoed another, with tears in their eyes. The mayor, standing at the vanguard of the crowd, was pleading with the girl, willing to do anything to keep her from leaving. "H-Hey, maybe you can stay a little longer, you know. We wanna repay you somehow, so please! Let us do something for you!"

The girl, with a grin on her face, shook her head. "It's fine, you don't want a person who is an enemy of the navy to be in your village, putting every other person in danger, so I will go. Make sure to remember me!" With that, she turned to leave, leaving the villagers to their misery.

The crew stood there, watching the girl go, feeling an immense sense of sadness. They knew they would likely never see her again, but they knew that they had made a difference in the lives of these villagers, and that was all that mattered.

As the girl departs, leaving behind a trail of dark waves and her sparkling golden-green eyes, the villagers are left with a sense of gratitude and appreciation for her kindness and bravery.

She had a mint colour sweater and had a black turtle neck t-shirt and black jeans but they looked a little torn but she didn't mind and still had bandages around her hands and legs. Her golden pendant, glimmer under the sunlight.

She was really pretty for a 15 year old girl.

She didn't listen any further as she cut the rope with a dagger and pushed her boat away from the force of her leg and waved at them

"Thanks for the free food, I'm thankful and make sure that no one rules you again!!" She yelled and waved at them with a smile and they waved back with smiles as well

"Bye-bye, big sis, we won't forget youuu!" Haru yelled followed by agreements by Mei and Haku.

Luffy stood on the ground frozen unable to move, same as Sanji. Zoro noticed this but thought to say nothing but looked back at the girl.

So she's here...

Luffy was thinking of a small girl who had a huge smile looking up at him

"Luffy! Let's go fishing!"

"Luffy, when we grow up, we will be the strongest and the wholllle world will know our name!"

"I wanna be a pirate too!"

"Don't leave me too, Luffy..."

A few seconds later Luffy looked up to see the boat a lot further than he imagined so he ran to the left where they had docked their ship

"Luffy! Where are you going now?!!" Nami yelled out, but seemed like it reached deaf's ear since he didn't even turn back to inform her about his sudden departure.

"Let's go!" Zoro said and ran after his captain along with Sanji who was rather running faster, closing up with Luffy.

"Luffy slow down! Where the heck is this guy even going?" Usopp called out, following after them.

"Isn't this where we docked our ship?" Nami asked, Zoro and Usopp realised it indeed was where they docked their ship

"Yea, but what's with the cook now?"

As they came near they saw luffy already stretched his hand and landed on the deck of the ship, they quickly made their way up the ship. Before Nami could yell at him, he commanded an order.

"After her." he mumbled, Zoro saw the serious but yet something else in his voice and eyes as he told nami to do as he says

"Let's go," Sanji said in a low tone

They started to turn and sail the ship towards the girl. Luffy was standing upside merry seeing the girl laying, her black beret hat on her eyes to block the sun off. She had removed her coat and just the plain black t-shirt was on.

Luffy's lips twitched into a frown as tears filled his eyes. He didn't think anything further as he shot his hands out to grasp the boat. Usopp and Nami let out a gasp as zoro looked shocked and Sanji just stood there, his hands tight on rails as he kept his eyes on her figure

Sensing someone the girl sat up to look at the stretched hand holding onto her boar from the ship. Holding her beret hat in her hands. Her face turned into one of shock but changed to a tearful face as the person coming towards her

"AAALICEEEEEEE!!!!!!!"

She quickly stood up and grinned opening her arms. Luffy collided with her, his arms around her head and he wrapped his legs around her waist. She hugged him back tightly

"Luffy...." Alice gasped in shock but the realisation settled in, she started to sob before hugging him tightly.

Nami, Usopp, Sanji and Zoro made their way towards them. Luffy's legs were on the floor still hugging her, her feet dangling in the air because of the clear difference between them

While Nami and Usopp didn't know who she was other than her name which Luffy had yelled out, Sanji was smiling at the happy and relieved face of Alice. Seemingly knowing who she was. Zoro was confused since he didn't know how to react.

"Wait..... isn't this the girl in the photo that you had Sanji?" Nami asked as she looked at him to see him smiling at Luffy and Alice, who were crying and hugging, causing her to raise an eyebrow.

Back in the Baratie, Sanji and Alice had taken a picture together couple of years ago because after she failed to pay, she had to work in the kitchen as a waiters, since they was none.

Luffy was wailing, sniffing and screaming while Alice did the same except screaming. He pulled away from the hug, placing his hands on her cheeks, he wiped her tears but she wasn't done yet as she pulled him into another hug, her face buried in his chest

"I thought I would never see you again...!! I thought...I lost you forever, you know!" she yelled out her voice muffled by the cloth.

"I too thought I wouldn't see you again but I didn't give up! I didn't believe you were dead! I didn't want to.....I knew you weren't!!" luffy yelled out, letting out another batch of unshed tears.

"Luffy....what's happening? Who..?" Nami started but didn't want to butt in yet. They pulled away as Luffy wiped his tears and put his hand on her head ruffling it as she beamed at him

"Everyone meet my little sister. Alice!"
