"Heavy....heavy and hot.." Luffy groaned while dragging the bags.

A few minutes ago, the crew had played rock-paper-scissors to see who would have to drag the luggages. It was Luffy's idea and unfortunately, he lost. Fortunately, now they don't have to carry the heavy load anymore.

"You lost at rock-paper-scissors, so shut up and pull." Sanji taunted making Luffy more tired.

"Don't drop anything, Luffy."

"Alice, don't you want to help your big brother?" Luffy asked, blinking at her innocently while grinning. Alice, being the kind-hearted person she is, quickly agreed and walked back but Zoro grabbed her hood and pulled her back.

"It's your problem now, captain." He mentioned making Luffy hang his head down in disappointment and regret, why did he even bother to make such stupid bet.

"If I could turn into a bird, it would've been so convenient and useful." Alice said, crossing her arms, pouting as she couldn't do so. Sanji rose a brow.

"What exactly can you transform into?"

"Not much," she said. "I can change my body's skin into gecko because it's anatomy was easy to learn. Oh and black jaguar as well. You saw it twice already. Unless I understand the whole anatomy, I can't do it. That's why when I transformed into jaguar, only a few parts of my body had changed. But my sensitivity to senses have always been strong after the experiment and I can make my senses completely dull too."

"How about when you met Laboon? You lost your hearing up until a couple of hours ago." Zoro asked.

"That's true. But Laboon's sound frequency was something I hadn't expected. It was too loud, even for my ear monitors. I had migraines for a while but after I was in Dr. Kureha's castle, I got better."

"Ah, so the old witch treated your ear?" Sanji commented.

"Yep! She also gave Chopper something for if my hearing goes numb again." She replied, smirking making Chopper sit up shocked. "How did you know!?"

"I overheard your conversation with her. I'm gonna need a proper explanation later, buddy."

"Aww, I thought I was good at hiding it..."

"You can't hide stuff from me, Chopper."

"The transforming into bird reminded me," Vivi spoke and turned back to the group. "If any of you ever saw birds dead on the ground, do not let your guard down. They are the 'evil herons'. They're desert pirates that trick travellers and steal their supplies. Be careful if you see one, especially you Luffy, you are the one who has our food."

"Okay! Beat up stupid birds if they look dead, got it!"

"That's not what I meant..."

"I never saw birds as com artists," Alice mumbled imagining birds laying on the ground with torn dresses like a begger.

"Oh.." Usopp mumbled while looking into his goggles, "Yes!! Crags, dead ahead!!"

"Really!!?" Luffy exclaimed happily before he started running towards it, leaving nothing but dust behind. "BREAK TIME!!!"

"Look at him go!" Usopp commented, gawking at the speed he ran in. Vivi and Nami sweat dropped before following after him, trying to catch up with him before he ate all their food himself.

Alice being the fastest in this situation took the responsibility to catch up with her brother. Usopp gawked once again at her speed.

"Look at her go!!"

"Shut it, Usopp."

Reaching the crag, Alice noticed Luffy standing with dead birds but they looked like he beat them up.
