4 : The Wheeler house

(Hope pov)

We got up at around 8:00 am so that we could eat breakfast, get ready, and still have plenty of time to get to the mall. The mall opened at noon on Saturdays.

"Let's get down the stairs before the boys eat all the pancakes!" Robin yelled and then ran down the stairs and face-planted.

"Are you okay?" Chrissy asked while laughing.

"Yeah I'm good, at the most I have more brain damage but I already have that so what's a little more?" Robin said jokingly and rolling down the stairs instead of getting up.

"You definitely have some sort of brain damage." I said while laughing.

I looked down the stairs while walking so that I didn't pull a Robin and fall.

I saw a guy who looked familiar in a leather jacket and a denim vest with black ripped jeans and a chain on the belt loop. He looked good. He had dark, long, curly hair. He had four rings on. One plain ring that looked like it has a design carved into it. On the other hand he had a ring with a skull on it, a pig on another ring, and a cross with four rings in the corners of the cross. He had a chain bracelet and a watch on the other hand. He also had a guitar pick necklace on. He was the guitar player! HE WAS THE FREAK AND MY DRUG DEALER NEIGHBOR!!! What was his name? God what was it? EDDIE! That was his name.

"Noah, I think your sister's staring at me." Eddie joked and nudged Noah with his elbow.

Was I really staring that bad? " you good?" Nancy asked and snapped her fingers in front of me.

"Yeah I'm fine, I just spaced out." I tried to play it off.

Eddie laughed a little and whispered to one of his friends " spaced out " he smiled not believing but not saying anything about it either.

I started to blush but hid it with my hair.

Then Nancy and Mike looked at each other and then at the same time grabbed one of the plates with ten pancakes on it and Nancy ran up to her room. Mike ran down to the basement.

"What's up with you staring at Eddie?" Robin asked once we got back up to Nancy's room.

"Umm, I don't know what you're talking about." I said

"Yeah right, you totally like him." Nancy said.

"Have you guys met before?" Chrissy asked smiling.

"No I just knew that he was a dealer. I didn't even know what he looked like." I said.

"Tell is the truth, we won't tell anyone. We promise. Do you like him?" Robin asked.

"I don't know, maybe. I've never liked someone before but I feel...weird around him. I think I might tho." I explained.

"O" Nancy said.

"M" Chrissy said.

"G" Robin said.

"YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON EDDIE MUNSON!" The girls said all at the same time.

I started blushing. I had to change the subject so I asked where the bathroom was so I could get dressed.

"Down the stairs to the left, first door on the right." Nancy directed.

"Okay thanks." I walked in the directions that Nancy told me and then got ready for the day.

Speak of the devil on my way back to Nancy's room I ran into Eddie.

"Hey, your names Hope right?" Eddie asked

"Yeah." I said

"Cool do you wanna join hellfire? If not it's fine but we need more people and your brother said you knew how to play." Eddie asked.

"Let me brush up on my d&d and then I'll tell you, I might not tho so don't get your hopes too high." I explained.

"Alright see ya." Eddie said.

"See ya." I said trying not to blush again.

I ran up to Nancy's room to find Chrissy and Nancy ready to leave.

I've never been shopping with girls my own age. I've only ever went with my mom.

We said goodbye to everyone and went out the door.

We got to the mall and it was huge. I needed to stay with the girls because if I didn't, I was gonna get lost.

"Does anyone want ice-cream?" Robin asked

"Yeah" I said

"Sure why not." Nancy said.

"Of course." Chrissy said

We walked up to an ice cream place called "scoops ahoy" and there was only one guy there.

"Hey Steve, how busy have we been today?" Robin asked.

"Not busy but Jason stopped by asking for Nance so I'm confused. Is there something going on with him?" Steve asked and looked to Nancy.

"No he just wants to talk to Chrissy. They broke up." Robin explained

"Oh and Robin, I need you to scoop ice cream with me for a minute we need to talk about shifts." Steve said signaling for Robin to come with him.

"Is there something going on between you guys?" Chrissy asked Nancy.

"We used to date and he became a jerk and beat up my friend at the time who's now my boyfriend, he's grown up and is mature now but we're just friends." Nancy explained.

"Oh okay." Chrissy said.

"You know you like the some of the same stuff as Eddie, like you like the same music, you have the same clothing style, and you both have close friends who're all you need." Nancy said.

"Yeah you guys would work out, I see it working." Chrissy said.

"Not happening, he probably doesn't even like me back, I mean he's only talked to me one time." I explained not telling them about the hallway run in.

As we walked through the mall and looked at stuff, all I could think about was Eddie's offer.

Even tho I didn't want to I had to go home.

Noah and I said goodbye to the Mike and Nancy agreed to give us a ride back, everyone else already left. We got in the car and started to drive home.
