13 : Finally

(Eddie pov)

"What?" I asked still processing everything

And then it hit me. She told me she loved me.

" you love me?" I asked wondering if I heard her right.

"Uh.... Yeah. Eddie I've never felt like this for anyone before. I get butterflies by just seeing your face, I can't take my eyes off of you if your in the room, I can't sleep without you being there, I can't stand seeing you be hurt, I couldn't imagine what my life would be like without you other than the fact that I would be miserable... if I even survived. If that isn't love, I don't know what is." I admitted

He started fiddling with his rings, it was like he was trying to decide something.

Did I do something wrong?

" you don't have to do or say anything." I said

"I knew you didn't feel the same way, I knew it was stupi-" I started but was cut off

He grabbed my waist and pulled me in and pressed his lips against mine.

I grabbed the back of his head and deepened the kiss.

We stayed like that for what felt like forever and I didn't mind... at all.

Then somebody opened the door, it was Wayne.

We pulled away immediately.

"Just friends huh?" He asked smirking at us.

He knew.

"Well... not so much anymore." Eddie said while blushing.

"I figured considering the fact that you two were just makin out." Wayne said.

"What- we weren't makin-" I started to say

"It's fine, he knows." Eddie said

Thank god, I don't wanna hide it from Wayne... or anyone really but that's up to me and Eddie not just me.

"Umm, are we keeping this between us or am I ok to tell people?" I asked

"I don't care who knows, or what they think." Eddie said

"I guess Jason was right, I do have a thing for you." I said not thinking

"Jason? Carver? Laundry basket shooter?" Eddie asked

"Yeah I ran into him at the mall and asked if I had a thing for you or if we were together and then he called you a freak and bad talked my friends... then I punched him and I'm pretty sure I broke his nose." I said nonchalantly.

" Jesus H Christ! You broke the laundry basket shooters nose!" Eddie said while laughing

"Yeah I think so!" I said while laughing.

Wayne just watched in amusement seeing his nephew being as happy as he's ever seen him.

"You wanna go to my bands performance?... as like a date?" Eddie asked while fiddling with his rings.

(Wayne pov)

I've never seen Edward so happy, it was nice.

His birthday was tomorrow and I haven't gotten him anything yet.

Crap- I haven't gotten him anything yet.

"I gotta go get stuff for dinner, I'll see you later." I said

"Ok by uncle Wayne!" Eddie said

"By Wayne." Hope said

(Eddie's pov)

It's over, me stressing myself out over if she loved me back or not is over.

Wayne left so it was just me and Hope.

"So what do you wanna do?" She asked me.

"I don't know." I said

"I have a question... what are we? I don't wanna be just friends." She said

Good, I don't either

"Uh... I mean I kinda figured we would ..."

I started spinning my rings on my finger, I was worried about her answer.

" would you wanna be my...uh, my girlfriend?" I asked unsure

"Of course I would!" She said excitedly

"Wait- really?" I asked

"Yeah of course I would." She said

She ran up to me and hugged me tight

I think she might have been a little excited.

" can you give me a ride to Nancy's house? Noah is already there, Lucas' parents dropped him off with Lucas when they went to meet Mike." She asked

"Yeah of course." I said while grabbing the keys.

She sat in the passenger seat and had her hand on the middle console.

I was only steering with my left hand so my right hand was in the middle console too.

Her hand brushed up against mine and I moved my hand closer to hers

She didn't notice so I grabbed her hand and interlocked our fingers.

(Hope pov)

He interlocked his fingers in mine and I held his hand.

He looked over at me and smiled.

God I loved his smile

We pulled into the wheeler house and he let go of my hand.

We got out of the car and as soon as we got close enough we held each others hand again.

Nancy opened the door and saw our fingers interlocked and just smiled.

She let us in and then took my hand from Eddie and drug me up the stairs.

She mouthed to Eddie to stay down there.

"No freakin way!" She said

"Yes way." I said

"I told him I loved him! He said it back! We kissed!... his uncle walked in on us kissing! His uncle knows! We're officially a thing! We held hands in the car!" I whisper yelled.

"No way!" She said

"Does Robin or Chrissy know yet?" She asked

"No but you can tell Chrissy and I'll tell Robin on the phone down stairs!" I said

I walked down the stairs to see Eddie on the phone.

"Who're you talking to?" I asked

"Gareth, I was trying to seem calm and just go with the flow but I'm just as excited about this as you are and I had to tell someone." He said

He was like a little kid on Christmas

"Okay we'll when your done come get me, ima tell Robin." I said

"You have good timing, I'm done." He said

"Okay thanks." I said while taking the phone from him and dialing Robins number.

"Hey Robin, it happened. It finally happened! We're together and it's official!" I said and she was so excited

"Omg! Im so happy for you!" She said

Me too Robin. Me too.
