"I'm sorry ren, I said I wouldn't but..."

"Grain! Stand down!" Ren tried to stand firm but grain just kept pushing, it should have been expected really. Ren though he would be prepared for this if it ever happened but now that is was here he was so lost-

"It has to happen!" Grain raised his sword.
Bdubs moved infront of him with a shield, he tried to block his attacks but grain hadn't came alone- they were outnumbered.
"I- it's okay king just run, GO," Ren froze up, "Bdubs You can't fight alone,"

"Ren just go!"

He should've listened... he shouldn't have let his stubbornness get the best of him.
After so many times of respawning one should be used to the pain, yet the pain of betrayal stung more than death, Ren shot up in bed, tears falling down his face as he tried to regulate his breathing, each one of them stinging the gash grain had given him- he tried to ignore it - his ears lowered feeling overwhelmed with countless regrets, the last thing he heard was laughter,

His kingdom, his people.  Not only betrayed him after countless acts of kindness but laughed.

Ren quickly got up, grabbing spare items from a chest and rushing to find bdubs, "Bdubs?! Bdubs!" Ren shouted, rushing around the server while also trying to hide from the resistance- just in case, "Ren?!" He heard a voice call back, quickly running in the direction,

"Your okay!" The two ran towards each other,  meeting in an embrace- ren practically knocking bdubs to the floor- "I'm so sorry- I should have listened to you," rens voice was filled with regret as he hugged bdubs tighter, "It's okay, everything's going to be okay," bdubs reassured trying to stabilize the two,

The two separated, bdubs giving a concerned look at he quickly grabbed his face, "Oh- They got you good..." he mentioned towards the obvious wounds on his face and shoulders, his attire torn and considerably ruined. "I'll be alright, will you?" Most of the hits on bdubs were blocked by a shield, still ren was worried, "Huh- of course I'll be fine! We should clean those though.. "

Ren nodded in response, letting bdubs lead him into the castle

(not the main one but bdubs castle not the actual castle which they died at but the other okay I'll stop)

Ren sat down on one of the benches taking off his cloak, bdubs grabbing a cloth and dipping it in the cauldron, "Uh- this might sting a bit, " bdouble warned before pressing the cloth against the wounds, ren quickly inhaling. He bit his lip as bdub finished cleaning the cuts, placing the bloodied towel in the cauldron before grabbing spare cloth bandages and covering them. "There all done," bdubs grinned as ren grabbed his cloak and put it back on, "here sit down, " ren grabbed bdubs shoulder, motioning for him to sit on the bench to which he complied. Grabbing a *new and clean duh* towel, ren took off bdubs sweater and placed it aside

He returned the favor, bandaging the fewer wounds bdubs had got in the fight, "Good thing they didn't get my beautiful face!" Bdubs placed the back on his hand to his forehead trying to lighten the mood by being dramatic, ren laughed, "Yup that would be a shame," he smiled placing the dirtied cloth in the cauldron as bdubs put his shirt back on - ren sitting next to him -

"What are we going to do now?" Bdubs inquired, "accept defeat I suppose, we already lost." Ren had already lose any hope, bdubs apparently not, "Oh come on we can't just give up! I bet a lot of other people are willing to fight for your reign," he added, "huh, what are you trying to say-" bdubs smirked, "I say we take the crown back,"
