(Double life rancher duo again:'D )
(Short but sweet chapter)
(Basically two ideas I wanted to do but bam make it one chapter! So sorry for the roughness i wasn't going to Publish this for that reason but I keep pushing back chapters and I feel bad)
"Okay okay I have an Idea," Jimmy said streatching his wings since they had just woken up moments before, "Uh oh-" Tango jokes, Jimmy glared at him, "whatever- come on, " he said lightly grabbing the others hand as they walked outside,
"What are we doing again-" Tango asked confused as his soulmate went behind him and grabbed his arms, "Just hold on and don't freak out-" "well you didn't answer my queSTAAAAA - " tango trailed off to a scream as Jimmy flapped his wings- they were strong enough to carry himself, two people he wasn't sure- tango clinged to Jimmy as they got higher off the ground, "Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod" he continued to freak out, his tail darting from side to side,
"It's okay it's okay I'm not going to drop you- Woah! See the ranch looks so cool from here!" Jimmy beamed, hinting for tango to look, he briefly lifted his head up, it really was beautiful sight, especially under the morning sun the ranch looked so graceful- that was until his eyes quickly glanced to the bottom, he felt panic fill him again- "JIMMMY- WE CAN GO DOWN NOW-" he tried to get to a safer position, Jimmy tried to hold onto him but tango was flailing trying to hold his shoulders,
Jimmy tried his best to still himself, lowering towards the ground before tango grabbed his wing by accident, pulling it down as he tried to hold on- "TANGO-" Jimmy lost balance, turning over to cushion the fall of tango as they roughly landed on the grass- barely able to keep from crashing as tango catched his breath, he quickly sat up, "HOW COULD YOU I SAW OUR LIFE FLASH BEFORE MY EYES!" Tango yelled dramatically before realizing he more literally crashed the two, "OH- are you okay?! Your wings! SORRY-"
Jimmy looked confused before he looked over, his wings were ruffled and now littered with dirt, "eh- it's alright, and sorry-" he gave a nervous smile tango quickly turned apologetic, standing off Jimmy and helping him up- quickly rushing the other inside, "Really it's okay tango- I'll just clean them later we have work to do anyways!" Tango did feel a little bad for causing that though, "It's okay! I'll just clean them before we go, " Jimmy sighed, "fine just- don't PULL ON THEM AGAIN- " he referenced. Tango let out a nervous laugh, just realizing what he agreed to- Jimmy didn't seem bothered by it but tango knew enough from being friends with grian that well it's a duty to take seriously!
In all reality, tango was internally freaking out more than needed. He let out a shaky sigh as he grabbed some wool from the chest and ran it under the water before turning back to Jimmy, his smile eased the nervous anxiety tango felt - worst case scenario he ruins Jimmy's wings for the second time in a day right?- Jimmy turned his back to him and sat down on one of he blocks
Tango was a bit awed as Jimmy relaxed his wings - they werent defensive, they werent curled just lazily stretched out- really put into account for tango how big Jimmy's wings actually were, "Tango?" He was quickly pulled from his admiration, "Sorry!" Jimmy felt a bit nervous- only becuase of how tango was unsure, he didn't know much about wings or taking care of him for that matter, but he trusted tango. Even after he crashed them. Tango used the cloth to wipe the debris from his wings (yes birds can get wet and yes I reaserched this don't bully me) washing the cloth and putting it away he ran his hand through his golden feathers, finally he stepped back,
"There!" He smiled proud of himself for not totally ruining his wings, Jimmy got up and inspected his wings, "Thank you tango, you did great," he smiled before tucking his wings to his sides and giving tango a hug, "we should start being productive now-"
/possible spoiler but if you haven't seen the last episode than.. what
