A couple of men show up from work along with Haechan and Heejin. Yeji is still by my side. She told Mrs. Lee that she could go home and that she will stay with me tonight.

"So tell us what happened?" One of the guy ask.

I share with them what happened. From the moment Beomgyu assigned me the job to having a small talk with Heejin, to the lock out procedure then me getting my hand smashed.

"We're here to see if you qualify for worker's compensation" the guy says.

"Why wouldn't she? She got injured on the job" Yeji looks irritated for some reason.

"Yes, but if we see that she got injured due to negligence then she can't qualify."

"She did the procedure right. I watched her turn off the power then put the tag on" Heejin says.

"Where were you after?" Haechan ask.

"I went to use the toilet."

Why do I have a feeling that Haechan is against me on this one?

"Does your workplace have cameras? I'm sure you can get all these answers by watching the camera" Yeji is really annoyed now and not gonna lie, she looks cute.

"Everyone in that place knows what when you see that tag on the electrical panel, it means the machine is being worked on. If she properly tagged it then no one would have touched it" Haechan says.

"Aren't you her supervisor? Why aren't you siding with her?" Yeji questions with her arms crossed.

"Who are you? Her girlfriend?" He rolls his eyes.

"So what if I am?" My eyes widen. I know she doesn't mean it but it did make my heart flutter.

"I want to see the surveillance videos. You're not gonna come here and acuse Ryujin that she failed to do her job properly without proof. Someone witnessed that she did it correctly" Yeji continues to show her annoyance towards them.

I'm remaining quiet because I'm starting to doubt myself. I'm not sure anymore if I turned off the power then tagged it.

"I'm telling you that she didn't do it right" Haechan uses his authoritative voice.

"We're done talking here then. You'll be speaking to my lawyer from on" Yeji says.

"Yeji" I say but she glares at me so I stop talking right away.

"There's no need to involve a lawyer" one of the guys say.

"There is. We're suing you. Ryujin followed the procedures but someone still turned on the power causing the machine to run with Ryujin still working on it. This can get ugly so either show me the video from the security camera or we can take this to court. Which one do you wanna do?" Yeji is so intimidating right now. No wonder she has a high position at the company.

"My girlfriend needs to rest. My lawyer will contact you tomorrow and we will see the footage together when Ryujin is allowed to leave this place. So please leave us alone" Yeji calls me her girlfriend and I'm trying my best not to smile.

Haechan looks furious and glares at her the whole time he was walking out the door. Heejin stays back and stands next to me.

"I know you did it properly. Other people saw it too" she tells me.

"That was cool what you did earlier though" Heejin tells Yeji.

"I'm sorry I called you my girlfriend" Yeji apologizes to me. That hurt a bit but I'll live.

"How's your hand feeling?" Heejin looks at my injured hand.

"It's painful but that's expected considering what happened to it" I answer.
