For you amazing girls, those who feel insecure about yourselves, those who don’t think are worth it, and with low-self steam or however you spell that xD. You are worth it, you are worth everything in life, no matter your age, looks, or what has happened to you, because you are beautiful, anyway possible.

SONG FOR BOOK: LITTLE THINGS

~Nicole’s P.O.V~

*Present Time*

I blinked twice, making sure that I wasn’t dreaming. Who in the name of soup does he think he is!?

I clutched my phone in my hand, making sure I didn’t lose it. He’s here. He’s going to see me. Me! My ugly, fat, non pretty me! Why would he? I only forgave him, that’s all I did, I never told him to come, nor if I wanted to see him. I saw it, I saw when he lied.

You don’t just go, and give a girl advice, and the next day, say the exact same words in an interview where everyone sees. I even proclaimed my love for him! Pretending he was a girl who was in love with an other guy, asking for advice, when everything was fake! He wasted my time; I wasted my tears on him.

Then, after I don’t speak to him, he sends me this incredibly sweet letter, and now I completely forgot about what happened. And to make it worse, my diet is ruined because I was too damn depressed watching Disney movies –my weakness- and eating Nutella ice cream, because of him. I wish I’d never talk to him. I wish I haven’t giggled over every silly comment he said, pretending to be my ‘sister’ and telling me how to deal with things. Every time I hear his name, I just burst.

Because after all the lies, I forgave him. After all the incredibly girly comments I made, and all the pictures of myself I sent, I forgave him. And now I want to be with him more than ever. But damn why do I have to be fat? And why on earth did my mother have to hit me?

I mean, all these troubles, and I’m

But he doesn’t have to come. I only said, and recall, “I forgive you” That’s all I said, I didn’t say, “Hey dude come here!” or “Let’s see each other in person!”

He’s here, that must be him!

I look back at my phone, re-reading the kik, (Kik is an app messenger where you can freely text online) he and my best friend sent me.

MarriedToJemi (My best friend): “Nicky, he is in Puerto Rico! OMG NICKY, HE KNOWS WHERE YOU LIVE! SOS!”

And of course, Niall’s kik.

IamCute: “I came to meet you. I need to say I’m sorry in person.”

He couldn’t! Could he?

“Nicole! You have a visitor!” My mother’s voice echoed. My heart raced. I’m only in sweatpants, Disney blouse and my doggy fluffy slippers.

I have no makeup to cover up my horrible face, and I’m pretty sure you can notice a belly by the blouse.

“Nicole, hurry up!” My mother’s angry voice echoed, once again. I took a pillowcase and let it lay on my head, down my neck. I can still see a little with it on it.

I walked out of my room, to the hallway, and into the living room, where I tripped with my mom’s figure. “Don’t be such a pest Nicole!” Her hand met my arm in a slap. Yes, that’s how we… ‘greet’ each other. Isn’t it lovely? Please note my mouth dripping from sarcasm.

As I was about to say I was sorry, her hand ripped the pillowcase from my head, making my hair all messy. My eyes instantly met a figure sitting on the end of my sofa, his eyes full with worry. He eyed me up and down, and I couldn’t help but feel subconscious.

“Don’t just stand there you twat! Go say hi, goodbye, and go to your room!” My mother said, hitting me on my arm once again. I touched my arm as I felt it pounding.

“Yes Mother” I said looking at her eyes. I look back at the figure, who was now no longer sitting on the sofa, but standing next to it. I gave a shy toothless smile.

I thought he was coming close to me, but he went in front of my mother’s face. “You don’t treat your own daughter that way” He said, looking at me once again, before looking back at my mom.

My mom went closer to him, and gave out a scary growl. “She is my daughter. I gave her life! And since I give her roof, and food to eat, she does whatever I say. My roof, my rules” She said through gritted teeth.

“Then, what if she wasn’t here? What if she wasn’t under your roof?” He asked, an accent clearly showing.

“Then she can do whatever she wants” My mother stated simply.

“Good. It is done then. Nicole, you’re coming with me.” He said, looking at me this time. My mouth agape, looking at my mom to say no, but she didn’t, she looked at me with evil eyes. She then slapped me once again, and Niall was about to stop her, but it was too late.

“Go on now! Pack and leave!” She said, turning me around by my shoulders, and pushing me down the hallway.

What in the name of soup just happened!?
