As the Raptor fleet chased the Condor, Aerrow and the Storm Hawks prepared for the trap. In front of them lies the treacherous Black Gorge which has claimed the life of all sailors who dared attempt to cross it. Behind them was the Raptor fleet who sought to send the Condor to the bottom of the Sea. It was a high risk gamble. But for Aerrow, it was a necessary gamble. Soon enough, the Condor entered the Black Gorge.

Stork: Captain, we've entered the Black Gorge!

Aerrow: Let's see if the Raptors truly follow their prey to the ends of the Earth!

As the Condor sailed into the Black Gorge, the Raptor fleet entered the Black Gorge. Repton's flagship led the charge as the Raptors chased after the Condor. As both the Condor and the Raptor fleet sailed through the Black Gorge, the treacherous caverns of the Black Gorge began tearing apart the Raptor ships. Despite this, Repton refused to give up the chase. As for the Condor, Stork was able to navigate through the treacherous waters of the Black Gorge. As the chase dragged on, Repton's flagship began suffering serious damage.

Raptor: Captain! The ship is taking heavy damage! We must turn back!

Repton: No! This is exactly what that pirate wants! We stay the course!

The Raptors followed Repton's orders without question. Meanwhile, the Condor soon began to take considerable damage.

Piper: I see no end in sight, Captain!

Aerrow: Don't worry, Miss Escuella! I know what I'm doing!

Radarr began screeching frantically to Aerrow.

Aerrow: We'll make it, mate! We'll make it!

As the crew did everything in their power to keep the Condor going, the ship began to rock violently. Dove loses her balance and falls overboard. She manages to grab on to a lantern. As Dove holds on, the continued shaking of the Condor causes Dove to slowly lose her grip.

Dove: H...help! I'm slipping!

As Dove lost her grip, she began to fall when Junko grabbed Dove's arm. Dove felt her life flash before her eyes as Junko pulled her up.

Dove: T...thank you!

Junko nodded to Dove as the two continued working on the Condor. With seemingly no end in sight, Aerrow knew that the longer they stayed in the Black Gorge, the more likely that they'll share the same fate as all the sailors who sailed into the Black Gorge. As Finn threw the last fire barrel overboard, he takes aim with his musket.

Finn: C'mon....c'mon...just a little closer.....

As the fire barrel reached Repton's flagship, Finn fired his musket. Finn's shot hit the fire barrel, causing the barrel to explode. The resulting explosion not only damages Repton's ship, but it causes part of the rocky formations to collapse, sinking more Raptor ships. Despite this, the Raptor capital ship continued to pursue.

Finn: Captain! We're out of fire barrels and that Raptor ship is still pursuing us! She's one tough bitch!

Starling: That won't stop Repton! The best it'll do is slow him down!

Aerrow: Aye! That's the plan! I know the kind of man Repton is! He's a man that won't stop until he has his prize! And nothing short of the Devil himself will stop Repton!

As the chase continued, the Black Gorge continued to do serious damage to both the Condor and Repton's capital ship. By this point, most of the Raptor fleet had been destroyed. Despite these loses, Repton refused to stop. The prize of his hunt was at had. After a long an arduous chase, both the Condor and the Raptor ship had made it through the Black Gorge.

Stork: My God...I can't believe we made it....

Aerrow: We've made history, Mr. Stork! When they tell of this day, they say that this was the day that the Storm Hawks conquered the Black Gorge!

As the crew of the Condor cheered, the Raptor capital ship slowly exited the Black Gorge. Repton was seething in rage as he could hear the sound of cheering from the Condor.

Repton: Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering vessel; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee. Sink all coffins and all hearses to one common pool! and since neither can be mine, let me then tow to pieces, while still chasing thee, though tied to thee, thou damned vessel! Thus, I give up the spear. Raptors! All hands to battle stations! Man the cannons! Ready your swords and pistols! We will claim our prize!

With that, the Raptors prepared for battle. Like a wounded beast, the Raptors chomped at the bit for battle. Back on the Condor, Starling could see the Raptor ship approaching them.

Starling: Edwards! The Raptor ship is coming right for us!

Finn: Shit! That bastard just doesn't know when to quit!

Stork: We're doomed.

Aerrow: If Repton and his band of Raptors wish to continue this fight, then so be it! STORM HAWKS! Ready your weapons! Man the cannons! Let's show the Raptors the fighting spirit of the Storm Hawks!

Piper: You heard the Captain! TO ARMS! PREPARE FOR BATTLE!

In that moment, a battle had begun. The crew of Pirates known as the Storm Hawks would battle against the notorious Pirate Hunters called the Raptors. Both sides had taken serious damage from surviving the Black Gorge. But despite the damages they sustained, neither the Storm Hawks nor the Raptors would back down. In the open seas outside the treacherous Black Gorge, the only known survivors of the Black Gorge would battle with everything they had.
