"Loran..." Charlie breathed out, feeling like he was looking at a complete stranger.

His grandmother stood still, looking at the two near the entrance of her home. By the way she looked, her clothes were a purple and black one piece. It was long, waving in the back, making her look bigger and taller than she actually was. The lined dress with a ruffle black chiffon collared up at her neck.

The outfit made her look younger than her real age, her face was still the same, she hadn't aged a day. It's just the appearance, her eyes were no longer their normal color. They were a bright bold purple, a glossy light mist sprinkled from her chest.

The woman looked powerful. Mysterious, and overall, she didn't look like Charlie's grandmother at all. She looked evil, her eyes showed herself to be inhumane. She didn't look anything like a normal human, she looked impassive while staring down the blonde boy.

Charlie stood straight, blocking Lazarus from the old widow. Even though she could still see the wolf boy who stared back at her with a blank expression. She showed nothing back to Charlie's actions. He took her as a threat, shaking slightly while his mouth tightly closed and eyes glaring at her.

It stayed silent for a few seconds while the grandmother and nephew looked at one another. It was then that the old woman walked over to the two. It looked as if she was floating, levitating closer and closer to the pair. Charlie held back the urge to step back, instead, he held his ground when facing her.

The woman was close enough so that she stopped only 2 meters away from them. The mist around her turned a light purple, spreading around her feet like a wild fire as it slowly crawled its way over to Charlie.

The blond noticed as it crept closer and closer to him. He sucked in a breath, looking up at the old woman who stayed emotionless. "What do you want..." He wanted to yell out, yet it came out in a whimper.

Loran closed her eyes, when they reopened, her face took on relocation. She seemed to come to, like the things before her was something sad. She closed her eyes once again, bowing her head, she shook it softly. Her voice came out like a smooth spread. "Dear boy.. You know of the truth. Why must you look so angry with me?"

Her words made the boy gulp. It was her voice, his grandmother's voice. Yet it coated in thick menacing tar, running along her words like they were a sick mocking venom. Charlie couldn't help but shake in fear. He couldn't recognize this person. It scared him the most about the situation. "H-How could I-I not..?" He shakily replied, pulling his head up. "You aren't... Who you told m-me you were.. You're not-"

"I am still your grandmother dear. I always will be." Her voice was now soft, a bit of mockery could be made out of it, yet she showed truth in her eyes.

It wasn't true.

"Then why? Why Loran!?" Charlie regained his voice, yelling out to her in desperation for an answer. He wanted to know why she did this, why she did such a thing to Lazarus.

"I am your grandmother dear. Don't call me such." Her eyes glinted with brighter purple, almost in a threatening manner. Charlie gulped back, he took another step back so he was only an inch from the still frozen Lazarus.

She did something to him.. I can't risk her hurting him again...

Breathing in some confidence, Charlie replied in a slow manner. "Please.. Why did you do what y-you did, grandm-mother?"

Loran gave a gentle smile at his words, the mist surrounding her became larger as it surrounded the wolf and the boy in a circle. It was becoming a darker purple, becoming more bigger. It still didn't touch the boy or wolf, it only hovered around them, trapping the three together.
