Chapter - 10

Third Person’s POV

ANIKA : so you mean…you have no problem if I inform my family about our relationship?

Ishaan smiled hearing her question.

ISHAAN : If you want I can live telecast our relationship to the whole world. (Said
looking into Anika's eyes with genuine love).

Anika was feeling guilty in her heart for thinking Ishaan was a cheater like her previous boyfriends. She was just looking at Ishaan with a guilty look. Ishaan understand why she was giving the guilty look because she has doubted his love, that’s why now
she is feeling guilty.

ISHAAN : Now don’t give that guilty look. Anika, I have always told you, that trust is the most important thing in a relationship. So you have to trust me… you have to trust
my love. Don’t doubt it.

ANIKA : Sorry Ishaan, I was afraid… please forgive me. ( said in a sad tone)

ISHAAN : Hey! Hey, don’t be sad. I don’t like to see your sad face, I like to see your
smiling face. ( said putting one hand’s palm on her cheek). By the way, why did
you suddenly want to disclose our relationship? Did something happen?

ANIKA : Nothing big but today when I went to papa's cabin to ask permission for a half day, I had to lie to papa that I am
going with a friend called Ishaani. You know hearing papa's reply I am sure
Papa has suspected something or already known. I really don’t want to tell
papa anymore lies. I don’t want papa to feel that I don’t trust him. Papa must
be disappointed in me that I am lying to him.

Hearing Anika's words, Ishaan's face became serious. Many things were going on in Ishaan’s mind at that time. Seeing Ishaan’s face become so serious, Anika frowned and asked what happened to him.

ISHAAN : Nothing… You know Anika, sometimes we have to tell lies for our loved ones' happiness.

ANIKA : Maybe… But I think we shouldn’t tell lie to our loved ones. I am feeling bad
that I have told lie to my family all these times.

ISHAAN : you didn’t tell lie. You have just hidden the truth.

ANIKA : That is more dangerous than telling lie. Ishaan promised me, you will never hide
anything from me. ( said forwarding her hand)

Ishaan was hesitating to put his hand on her. Sensing his hesitation Anika looked at him in
perplexing way.

ANIKA : why don’t you promise me? Are you hiding something? ( asked apprehensively)

Sensing Anika's fear, Ishaan put his hand on her and he promised her.

ISHAAN : I promise…I promise I will not hide anything from you…… in future ( mumbled last part very lightly)

Anika happily hugged him. Anika didn’t think deeply about his sentence. She was happy
that Ishaan listened to her and he has no problem disclosing their
relationship. As they were sitting in the car Anika couldn’t comfortably hug
Ishaan so she urged Ishaan to drive to their regular dating place which is the
confectionery, owned by Ishaan.

Ishaan started driving towards the confectionery. There was happiness and also little nervousness in Anika's eyes but in Ishaan's eyes there was only guilt which
Anika didn’t notice.

FLASHBACK END

NITIKA : wow! Great! Ishaan bhai also has no problem then why are you so tense?

ANIKA : you know very well after knowing about Ishaan, what they will do.

NITIKA : yeah… they will taking definitely talk with Ishaan bhai… no… no, not talk that
should call interview… most difficult interview.

ANIKA : yeah… or you can say interrogation… as police do with a criminal. (Sigh)

NITIKA : don’t  worry di, for you Ishaan bhai will pass with full marks and Mihir  is
already satisfied with Ishaan bhai … so he will definitely pass.

ANIKA : Mihir bhai is still ok… but papa and our both mamus??? You know how they are! Sometime even Rishi uncle joined them.

NITIKA : Don’t worry di… your love will definitely win.

Nitika said those things to encourage Anika but she (Nitika) also knows very well how overprotective their family is, especially the male members…about them and especially about her sister, Anika’s love life.

Both sisters were praying to god to keep everything alright.
