A Song Only You Can Hear: kimchay + Vegaspete

Chay was late, but that didn't surprise him or his brother one bit. Porsche had always been the one to wake him up for school. When Porsche had started working for Kinn, Chay's friend Todd had been the one to take Porsche's place and would run over to wake him up which wasn't too difficult considering he only lived a few doors down.

"Chay you're running late hurry up" Porsche yells out as he runs towards chays room with a muffin in his mouth and another in his hand for chay. Chay rolls his eyes as he ties his shoes and runs into the bathroom to brush his teeth. Porsche bursts into his room and as Chay comes out of the restroom and grabs his bag Porsche stuffs the muffin into his mouth.

"Breakfast" he says smirking at chay. Porsche insisted that he'd take chay to school on his motorbike just like he used to. Chay didn't have the heart to refuse his older brother so he said nothing when Porsche had woken him up and had informed him with a happy look on his face. They walk out the door and Chay takes a few last bites of his muffin and throws it in the trash can. Kinn had thankfully replaced Porsche's death trap of a motorbike with something new that wouldn't be a danger on the road. The ride to Chay's school wasn't too long since there wasn't much traffic.

Porsche pulls up to the front gates and waiting for him upfront as Porsche drives in, is Macau with his family next to him. Porsche parks the motorbike and joins Vegas and Pete who's holding little Venice in his arms. Chay runs up to Macau "Hey, brought the whole family huh?" says Chay.

"They insisted on waiting here so I wouldn't stand up front alone" says Macau rolling his eyes but looking back at his family lovingly. Chay smiles and grabs Macau's hand pulling him towards Porsche and the others. "Hello p'vegas, p'pete" says chay greeting them.

Before anyone can respond, Macau interrupts "We have to go Chay, come on I'll walk you to class." Macau says as he starts pulling Chay their hands still intertwined. Chay lets Macau tug him along and turns towards Porsche "see you larder, hia" he says to his brother.

"No goodbye hug Macau?" says Pete in a semi teasing voice Macau doesn't bother to do anything but yell out "Yeah, Yeah see you later" while he maneuvers Chay into the school. "You know where your locker is, right?'' Macau says looking over to Chay "Yeah" Chay says grabbing a paper with his locker number on it. Macau grabs his own and puts it next to Chay's. "Hey we're only two lockers apart" says Chay looking at Macau who starts dragging him towards their lockers. As they reach the hall towards their lockers Chay can see people busy decorating their new lockers with pics of their school friends and club members.

Macau looks over at Chay "Isn't it a little pointless when we'll be graduating soon."

"Yeah but that's exactly why, we'll be going off to different universities soon. All we'll have left is the memories. Come on, let's take some pictures together so I can decorate my locker, yeah?" Chay says, swinging their intertwined arms, "Please, pleaaaase?"

"You know if you act any cuter I might just puke" Macau says pinching Chay's cheek, and laughing.

Chay laughs and gives Macau a little push on the shoulder. "We'll see each other during lunch. Let's take some pictures then. Maybe you're right, I'll decorate mine too." He nods and heads to his locker while Macau does the same. They put their stuff away and Chay waits for Macau. "Hey, maybe we can grab something to eat after school?" says Macau.

"I know how boring it can be to be stuck inside all day, Chay. To have to hide things from most of your friends, and I also know that going from one house to another isn't enough" Says Macau.

"I'd love that, Macau, thank you" Chay says, grabbing his hand and squeezing it. Chay stops in front of his class and promises to wait for Macau so they can head to class together. Chay heads in and turns in the folder with the copy of his application. He greets his teacher and hands her the folder. She looks down at it in confusion and opens it. She looks up at Chay and smiles "Good, Chay I hope you're accepted" Chay smiles right back and heads to his seat next to Todd where they make casual conversation until class begins.
