A Song Only You Can Hear: kimchay + Vegaspete

Chay opens the door to get out of the car while looking down at his friend's message. Before he can get out though, Kim reaches over, closes the door and snatches Chay's phone out of his hand. "Chay I need to talk to you, let's talk please". Chay holds out his hand "I have nothing to say p'kim please give me my phone". 

" No, not until we talk Chay, look I know I hurt you but I heard you didn't show up for the entrance exam at the university, don't do that Chay" says Kim turning chays face to look at him. 

Chay can feel his knees go weak. His hurt and anger overpower that that feeling in seconds. He slaps Kim's hands down. " I decided I'll be studying something else, none of this has to do with you, why are you doing this? YOU were the one who pushed me away. Who lied to me. Who hurt me, you USED me. What do you want from me p'kim? Do you want to see me miserable? Is that it?!" 

Chay reaches over and snatches his phone from Kim but before he can get out of the car Kim locks it. "I thought I was doing what was best, Chay please let me properly explain" but Chay interrupts him "No. We're done here unlock the door p'Kim" Says chay trying to open it. 

Chay unlocks the door himself and grabbing his bag pulling his arm away from Kim runs inside. He knows Kim is following him so he tries to lock the door of the room he ran into but before he can even close it Kim sticks his foot in the gap. He pushes the door open. 

"Listen to me Chay"

"No" Chay tries to go past Kim but he  grabs his arm and pulls him to the table in the middle of the room, trapping him in between him and the table. 

Chay panics pushing at Kim's chest. 

"Move"

"No"

"Stop, this" 

"You really want me to stop?" Says kim putting his face so close to Chay that it makes him turn his head. Kim grins and puts his face in the crook of Chay's neck. Chays breathing becomes heavy and he is no longer trying to push Kim back but has his hands on Kim's shoulders.

Chay can feel Kim's lips pulling into a grin on his neck and that makes him angry. So he says the thing that he feels will get him out of this problem.

He pushes at Kim lightly again and says "p'kim please stop my boyfriend won't like this".
Kim pushes back and looks Chay in the eye "boyfriend?!" he says, raising an eyebrow with an angry expression on his face.

"Yes, boyfriend!" Says Chay looking up at Kim defiantly. "You're lying," Kim says, tugging on Chay's chin. "I know you're lying, because you could easily get out of my hold chay" Says kim why holds up Chay's wrists that he's been holding loosely.

"You know how else I know ? You can't hide how fast your heart is beating every time I get close to you" Says Kim and as he's speaking he gets closer and closer until they're nose to nose. Chay can't help but look down at Kim's lips and Kim notices. "I hurt you Chay, I know I did, I was wrong I thought I was doing the right thing,  keeping you safe. I admit I was wrong Chay please hear me out, give me a second chance" before Chay can say a thing he hears someone call out for him.

"Khun chay, are you here?" Yells out a familiar female voice. "I'll be right out, khun!" Yells out Chay. "Phi please move!" Says Chay and he gets himself out of Kim's hold and walks out the door. In the hallway waiting for him is the elderly chef who has kept him sane since he got here. "Khun Achara" Says Porchay with a huge smile on his face. She returns it "khun porchay I wanted to ask you to have your snack before I retire for the night"

"Yes ma'am I'll be right there I just have to put my bag away" says Chay. She nods and walks back towards the kitchen to wait for Chay. Kim walks out as soon as he hears her footsteps are far enough and Chay is there waiting.

"Chay even if you refuse to speak to me I won't give up,  I know that whole boyfriend thing is a lie" Says Kim looking intently at Chay. Chay says nothing so kim turns around to walk out "I'll see you around chay"

Again no response from Chay. As soon as kim walks away Chay let's out a huge sigh of relief. He starts heading towards the kitchen all the while thinking about how unfair it was that Kim was right. Kim was his first love. Even after the way he hurt Chay he still couldn't help the way he felt for him.

But Chay also knew that he shouldn't give in. He would try his best to move forward. Without Kim, because he was tired, of feeling used and hurt and he promised himself he would never allow anyone to make him feel that way again.
