A Song Only You Can Hear: kimchay + Vegaspete

Pete insisted that Chay stay for dinner and he was having so much fun with Macau he just couldn't say no. So he stayed for dinner. He hung out with Macau for a while longer and they took care of Venice for a bit. 

When Kim showed up Chay felt a bit disappointed he had to leave. He truly hadn't had that much fun in a long time. 

Macau walked chay to the front door and they said their goodbyes promising to message each other in their time apart. 

Which hopefully wouldn't be for long because they were planning a sleepover as soon as possible. 

Kim was waiting for Chay outside his car and when he saw Chay getting close enough he opened the passenger door for him. Chay had been dreading this moment. He didn't want to have any sort of contact with Kim,  but he also knew that with Kim being kinns brother he wouldn't have a choice. 

"Your brother had an emergency trip to go on. He wasn't allowed to take his personal phone so he asked me to apologize to you on his behalf". Says kim getting into the car. 

"How long will he be?" 

"I don't know it could be a day or two at least. He won't be back tonight though, that I know. "

"He said you could stay with my family or you could stay back at your place, your choice." 

Chay knew then that this was the time. He could sneak out again. "Minor family home is fine" is all he says and kim nods "alright."

The drive is silent until Chay receives a message from Macau. They text back and forth until Kim pulls up to the minor family home. 

Chay opens the door to get out and realizes Kim has done the same. Chay walks inside and Kim follows.

"What are you doing p'kim? Aren't you leaving?" 

"I thought I'd stay, maybe I can sleep over?" Says kim.

Chay has an incredulous look on his face. 

"Out" says Chay, pushing Kim back. 

"Get out, right now" 

Kim laughs "I'm joking Chay I'm gonna leave some papers your brother asked for on his desk is all." 

"You're planning on snooping because my brother isn't here aren't you?" 

Kim tries to say something but Chay doesn't let him. "Give me the papers, I'll leave them on his desk so you can leave."

Kim sighs but hands Chay the papers. As soon as Chay turns, Kim grabs his arm and pulls him back. Kissing him on the cheek and looking down at Chay. Who pushes him away. 

Kim shrugs "just a goodnight kiss" he says smiling. 

A blushing Chay pushes a laughing kim out the door "Go home and leave me alone"

When Chay is finally alone he goes up to his bedroom and starts getting ready. He wasn't gonna let Kim distract him from sneaking out that night. 

Chay bides his time and he successfully sneaks out again. This time though he has a plan. When Dao had shown Chay the telescope and had him look up at the night sky Chay saw how beautiful the stars were. It reminded Chay of something he had learned at school. About the constellations and how they all told a story.

Chay had learned that everyone told stories in different ways. He remembered how Porsche would tell him that as a baby his mother and father would take them out when the weather was nice they would take the same path always.
