So that's how Chay finds himself at Macau's place in front of Vegas. "So Phi are you busy these days?" he asks, sitting across from Vegas on the kitchen island. "No, actually I have a bit more free time than before. It really just depends on the day if i'm being honest but, I usually have at least 2 or 3 days off" Vegas responds. Chay watches Vegas as he takes a bite of the lunch Pete made him. Vegas looks up at him and can't help but laugh "What's up Chay you're being weird." He fidgets and wrings his hands. "Phi I know you're not involved with all that, you know stuff anymore...but I also know you're a great fighter and well as you know I want more freedom..." Vegas nods as Chay speaks "So you want me to train you to fight?" Vegas says finishing for him.

"Phi before you say no-" Vegas puts up his hand to stop Chay.

"Stop talking, I'll do it" he responds. Vegas would Never actually tell Chay but he was reminded of Macau every time he saw Chay and how he had grown fond of him from when they stayed with him and Porsche. The night he got hurt Vegas felt just as angry as Porsche had felt. So he was glad Chay wanted to learn how to protect himself. He was planning on suggesting it to him personally but he had made the first move and Vegas wasn't about to say no.

"I just want you to know, Chay, I'm not going to go easy on you" Vegas says. Chay nods knowingly this is about what he expected from Vegas. Pete had warned him and so had Macau. The days training with Vegas were painful. He wasn't lying when he said he wouldn't go easy on him. The weeks passed by and Chay was so sore for a while Macau had laughed at him as he waddled into his car after another afternoon practicing Muay thai. Pete also helped him out; he had been teaching Chay how to disarm someone in many different ways.

Even Kakeru had gotten involved he showed him a few simple things like how to undo different types of knots if he was ever tied up and how to pick locks. Chay kept himself busy on his own time exercising on his own and lifting here and there. Vegas had told him that the first thing he should do was figure out what his strengths were. It didn't take Chay much time to realize that he was agile, and flexible. So Vegas made sure he knew how to use those things to his advantage.

Chay hadn't spoken to Kim but he regretted a lot of the things he said. One night Chay was sleeping over at Macau's as usual, he had gone downstairs to grab a glass of water and saw Vegas sitting at the kitchen table. "Hey Chay, can I ask you something?" he turns to Vegas who's watching him. "Of course Phi what is it?" He sits across from him. "I don't want to pry but, is there something between you and Kim?" Chay feels his face turning red.

"It's not my place, I know that, but Kim came to see me today at the office."

Chay sighs and runs his hand through his hair. The only ones who knew about what happened between him and kim were Macau and him. He hadn't even told Porsche about what happened between them. Vegas was understanding though he hadn't told anyone what happened when Kim had caused a scene when he had gotten hurt. So Chay tells Vegas everything. Vegas listens from start to finish and doesn't judge him or says anything while he talks. When he finishes Vegas just sighs.

"Look I don't want to tell you what to do and I have to make it clear that you have every right not to trust my cousin because he has to earn that right after what he did but, he does care about you Chay" Vegas says, giving him a small sigh.

"I know, I care about him too" Chay responds honestly.

"Kinn was at my office today. He comes over sometimes because we're "family" and we have to "form a strong bond, ''Vegas says, rolling his eyes.

"Which we all know those are"

"Porsche's words" Chay nods, finishing for him.

"Well all of a sudden.."
