When Chay opened his eyes he was sprawled on a bed. Macaus to be more specific who was on one side of him holding his hand. On his other side was Kim who was leaning on the bed staring at him. Kakeru was sitting on a nearby chair lying back with his eyes closed.

"You're awake," Kim says.

" Dao, where is he?" Is the first thing Chay can think of.

"He's getting some rest. He's been treated. He has a dislocated shoulder and a gash on the side of his head, a few bruises here and there but he'll be okay." Kim responds.

Chay can feel his eyes well up with tears. He had been worried about his friend.

"How are you feeling, Chay?" Macau asks.

"I'm alright." He turns to Kakeru who had stirred when Macau spoke.

"That man who was he?" Chay asks.

"Demyan Volkov we were doing deals with him and his family. His brother tried to fuck us over on a deal, yours found out he ended up getting himself killed." Kakeru responds. Leaning forward looking at Chay.

"Can you guys leave us for a few minutes? I have some questions." Macau doesn't question Chay and gets up squeezing his hand. "We'll be out here if you need anything yell" he says walking out the door.

Kim on the other hand looks at Chay "You really want me to leave you alone? With him?" Kim says, turning to kakeru. "Ah Khun Kim you wound me." Kakeru says, smirking.

"It's fine Kim I promise." Kim looks down at Chay and gets up. He gives him a reassuring smile and Kim walks out leaving the two men alone.

Chay looks over at Kakeru and pats the seat where Kim had been sitting. He obliges and sits. "Macau called you?" Chay asks. "Yeah he told me you told him about how we met on your night out he said you were in trouble." Kakeru responds. "This is the second time you've helped me out, why?" Kakeru looks at Chay and smiles "I didn't lie when I said I had grown fond of you." Chay hums. He doesn't know if he should believe him but he decides not to pry any further, not wanting to make his friend uncomfortable.

"I mean if you say so I am amazing so i'm not surprised" Chay says raising an eyebrow at him.

They both let out small laughs. "You're gonna look real tough now walking around with those stitches on the side of your head. Add a little extra to the amazement." Kakeru says, slightly waving to the side of Chay's head. "Hmmm yeah everyone will definitely fall at my feet after this. The purple eye, busted lip and the slightly traumatized aura is just something everyone finds sexy these days. I hear it's really in." Kakeru laughs loudly at Chay's words and that makes him smile.

"Thank you, really for saving me you didn't have to but you did and I'm extremely grateful." he says turning serious again. Before Kakeru can respond though, Porsche bursts in. "Chay, Chay are you okay?!" Chay watches as Kinn follows walking into the room after his brother. "I'm fine Porsche it wasn't too bad-" before Chay can continue, Porsche looks over at Kakeru. "What are you doing here?" He asks the tone of his voice changing at once, his hand reaching into his pants where Chay knew he most likely had a gun.

"Porsche, don't be like that, he's my friend and he saved me. If he wouldn't have showed up I would be dead." His own voice is serious. Chay knew that Kakeru was someone who had business with the main family but right now he was his friend before he was a client therefore he wouldn't allow him to be treated badly.
