THE FIRST TEST I

The First Test I

We finally arrived the Solast after an hour. Mintaro and Rhya wandered around the Chaldrean Town, enjoying themselves inside, and eating many foods that they wanted to taste. Riyota seemed like not bothered lately to his own brother, buying many because Mintaro and Rhya bought many. Rhya bought a gifts for her family. I could feel the sadness through his eyes when Rhya mentioned the word family.

Wayn tried to eat seafoods and Hidre almost sprayed our food by his perfume because he really can't take the smell of smoke. He also added that the place is too crowded and he didn't take the noisy crowds so he decided to cover his ears by wrapping it using his own bandages. Good thing, no one noticed him doing automatical wrap to his ears. Normal people might see him as wizard or weird (in bad way).

We could see from here the high tower. There are large boundaries that were surrounded to tower. The lights are moving, flashing the crowded people who are standing outside of boundaries. The flying books were opened as the flash showed up. The book flying in mid-air were like televisions. In Gideon—Themis, they are using devices to make a holograms. I don't know what kind of devices they created to make a flying books.

Riyota is walking first to the line while us, were just following him from behind. A playful smile can't be removed to his face. He's smiling again like an idiot. He's escorting us now inside. When we went inside of tower, Riyota went ahead to countertop where the assistant was assigned to whole first floor. I could see fighters preparing themselves to train or fight. There's also a bald that has a large body and wearing a bracelets of spikes.

Some of them put their attentions on us, mostly to Riyota and Hidre. I couldn't help but to feel a little nervous because they're looking differently at Hidre and Riyota like they're seeing them as new enemy to finish. Their eyes were dead and one of the thin guy who was sitting beside of guy wearing all black, licked the down lip when he saw Hidre. He looked at him from head to toe while licking the corner of his lips, definitely like he want to eat him now. He's like he saw a fresh human being who got his attention.

To stop his different stare at Hidre, I grabbed Hidre's hand that made his eyes widened a bit because of my surprise action. I put Hidre behind me while giving a death glare to idiot person. His lips twitched into menacingly smile and I looked at him with disgust.

“Stop staring at him or I will cut your tongue,” I muttered inside of my mind, trying to connect my mind to him. I could feel a magnetic force inside of my head, like a sound of small electric waves, while connecting my own mind to his. I don't know why I can do mind communication but it doesn't matter now.

“The scent is fresh.” I feel more disgust when he answered. His voice is like revoking because of his voice scratching inside of his throat and it's creepy yet irritating inside of my head. He's grinning at me right now. I immediately cut my connection to his mind when he was about to laugh. I bet, he knows mind communication. I shook my head when I felt a sudden dizziness.

"Stop gripping my hand, Prairei," Hidre muttered behind me. I let go his hand off as I apologetically smiled at him. He just looked down like he usually do whenever he feel too much embarrassment.

"Nakakatakot naman dito!" Rhya exclaimed while her hands were wrapped around to Mintaro's left arm. Kaunti na lang ay yayakapin niya na ito dahil sa takot na nararamdaman niya. Mintaro's isn't looking everywhere. He's just looking at front but his shoulders are raising up now. He feels nervous too like Rhya.

"Isang grupo, Miss." The woman assistant wearing uniform, typed something on keyboard. Our eyes widened, especially Mintaro, when a black circle with violet star at its center appeared to her hand.
