CHAPTER 20

Daniel's pov

"Nothing to worry Mr. Wilson. she fainted because her sugar level had dropped. for now, I gave her Glucagon so she would feel dizzy for sometime. Otherwise she is completely alright. Just make sure to have her meal on time. Add more fruits and vegetables on her diet." An old lady doctor reported me nervously once she treated her unconscious body.

" When will she get her conscious back?". I asked her intimidating made her tremble more.

" she wi...will wake up in ten or fifteen minutes sir". She replies stuttered.

"Thank you doctor" I nonchalantly stated before nodding at Anthony. 

"This way please" he said lead her to the main door. she took her bag with her wrinkle hands before running out for her life while I was looking at my angel who was now sleeping on the bed peacefully here making her husband frightened to the core.

 My mind became stop working once her body fell numb on my embrace. I don't know what to do when she didn't open her eyes after how many times I shook or shouted her name. it was like everything was stopped around me. But somehow I managed to call Anthony before explaining him about the situation. Not more than ten minutes he was at our farm house with a lady doctor along with him. After only she reported me that her health was good, my rigid body got relaxed in relief. but again I became more furious when she mentioned how her sugar level got low because of not taking care of herself properly. Definitely  my angel need some punishment. I know something was bothering her to skip her meals and her health got worse. I waited for her to come herself to me to talk about the photos which I took from her bag but not anymore.

Suddenly my phone started ringing made me look at my phone from my angel's face. I saw mom's name pop on it. I slide the green icon before answering her.

" Mom?"

" Dan, where is Ayra?, How is she now? what doctor said?, Is she alright?. Well I should just forced that damn breakfast and lunch into her throat instead of listening to her nonsensical ritual excuses.  Oh god How I was so dumb not recognising her pale face this morning ?" she bombarded  herself with questions not letting me answer her. I know she would become anxious and blame herself when she came to know about Ayra fainted news that's why I didn't inform her. but I forgot about that If not me then Anthony would spill everything to her once she threatened him. After all who have the audacity to refuse the Mafia queen.

" Mom please calm down. don't blame yourself cause you are not at fault and again, she fainted because her sugar level had dropped not because you failed to monitor her meal. Don't worry she is now completely alright mom". I said tried to ease her mind from getting more worried.

" But however her sugar level dropped because she skipped her meals right, obviously which I failed to notice?". She asked me made me shut. She is right but still both women are my life. How could I blame for one another. I heard her sighing on the other side.

" I know how you are feeling Dan but she is also my responsibility. she is my only Daughter-in-law. How could I sit idle here without worrying about her?". she added worried.

 " Ok now What did the doctor say?" she asked me more than order.

 "Doctor told me to make sure to have her food on time and asked me to include more vegetables and fruits in her diet. she told me not to disturb her until she woke up"  I reported her what exactly doctor said. 

" Thank god. Dan listen carefully. Take care of her properly and If I came to hear any one complaint from Ayra, then you are most welcome to stay in our outhouse alone for the rest of your life." she threatened me strictly made me chuckle at her
