Julie Parks was a 21 year old girl who didn't belong in this world- or so she thought.
Since the age of 4, Julie knew she was different. Her favorite movie was Matilda. When I say her favorite, I mean she watched it all day every day.. (between SpongeBob, The Cat in the Hat, and Power Puff Girls of course!)  Julie knew she was different, when everyone in school would talk about their Moms, and their Dads, and how they'd all sit down at the same table, eat dinner- fresh cooked meals, They'd help with homework, take them to their sports practices, take them for magical vacations.. you know, super active parents make super positive memories..

Julie knew she was different, when, at the age of 6, she would notice the way everyone around her would glare at her, with concern, and sadness when she would share HER positive memories.. It's just, they weren't so positive. She just knew how to see the light in every dark situation, and be grateful for the experience. when she was 6 she didn't understand. She just knew she was different.
At age 21 though, Julie can look back and know that those kids, and understand the looks when they heard about all of the insane, toxic, life changing events that has happened in her life. She always found a way to process through it,  by herself, overcoming, reflecting. A lesson to learn. A level achieved, and another unlocked. She kinda had this thing where she looked at life as a game, a thrilling journey.. the kind where you never know what's coming. but she knew, that because she always tried her hardest to be the most authentic, loving, empathetic version of herself, good things will come, what she asks for will come, all in the name of love.

Sometimes she isn't like that.
Sometimes she's empty:
a bag of meat, doing the whole you know,
life thing...
Sometimes she's so numb, she can't feel herself,
she loses everything,
emotions, self-control, sanity.
She looks down, and denies mirrors.
She cries randomly, and gets irritated easily.
She's temperamental.

She's a little bit of everything.
She's seen a little bit of everything.
She has been through it all.

She's just,

Julie Parks.
