Lockdown

Sierra  took a deep breath and tried to think. It was all such big news for her, and she could only handle so much.

Her mother looked at her sympathetically. "Honey, you should be good to go to school on monday. The heat will be on and off over the week and it should be off on monday."

Sierra ended her discussion with her mom and then went to find Luke, having no success. Confused, she texted him asking where he was hiding. She checked and saw his car was gone. Disappointed, she went back to bed.

She spent the weekend moping around her house and monday morning she wore up happy as ever. She was feeling good and was not in heat any longer. She put on a pair of jeans, uggs, and a cute tank top thing.

She grabbed a bar on her way out the door and walked happily to school. She walked in and everyone snuck glances or blatantly stared at her. Many smiled and a few looked sympathetic. Sierra was confused. She got to her locker and found Stella waiting for her.

"Heyyy Sierra. How are you this morning?" Stella said way to cheerily. Sierra immediately was suspicious of her.

"Hello... What is up with everyone today?" Sierra asked. Stella looked confused as well. "What are you talking about?" Stella asked.

Sierra shook her head. She figured she was just being paranoid. She noticed a guy walk by and eye her and she rolled her eyes in disgust. Now that she was finally noticed and dressing appropriatly, she was getting much more attention from the males.

Stella casually mentioned, "So, how is the sitch with you and Ben and Kyle? I heard about the thing with the chick a long time ago and the second mate. That sucks."

Sierra froze. Who could have told? Maybe...

"Kyle told me and I accidentily leaked it. Please don't be mad!" Stella said. She looked very nervous. Sierra sighed and got her books out. 

Stella then said,"Don't look now but mate number one is walking this way." Sierra glared at Stella. She was a bit insulted by that comment.

Warm arms wrapped around her waist and she smiled. It was definitely Ben. "Hello there sexy," A husky voice whispered in her ear. She giggled and he kissed her cheek. She realized she was caught in the moment and needed to get some space.

He backed off and she turned to face him. He saw the look on her face and it was that moment that she realized no one had told him.

"Ben, I need you to do something for me. Go to the library and ask the librarian for the book with Serena, John, and Troy. She will understand. Read that and realise I am Serena, you are John, and Luke is Troy. Don't say another word to me until you have." Sierra instructed Ben before walking away.

She found Stella. Stella was sitting on Trey's lap and gave her a sympathetic look. Trey gave her a similar look and said, "How are you holding up?"

Sierra sighed and said, "I am trying the best I can, but I can only do so much. I wish I had it as easy as you guys!"

Stella smiled. "We got lucky, didn't we babe?" She said to Trey. He smiled back and they kissed. Sierra felt a wave of jealousy crash through her body.

The bell rang and she went to class. She was just going through the motions until lunch. Luke was not in any of her classes so far and she saw him at lunch. He was wearing jeans that showed off his butt nicely and Sierra appreciated it. Ben came into the cafeteria looking very pissed.

Sierra saw the book he had a tight grip on and figured he had read it. Stella and Sierra exchanged looks and Trey noticed Ben. He moved so that Sierra was in between him and Stella. Sierra thanked him.

Ben glanced around and got in line to get food. All eyes were on three people.

Sierra managed to avoid them both all through lunch. After, she went to class and saw that both Ben and Luke were in it. She was going to ask the teacher if she could go home but she relized it was a human so she could not explain it.

The bell rang and she sat down. She could feel people staring at her, two in particular. She felt like hiding under her desk.

All of the sudden, a security gaurd came running through the halls shouting, "Intruder with a gun! Lock the doors!"

The teacher quickly told everyone to get in the corner and she shut the blinds and door. Sierra found herself squished between none other than Luke and Ben.

The teacher spoke soothing words to the class freaking out and then out of no where they heard it. That was all it took to set complete fear in Sierra's heart.

A gunshot.

It was close by, and before they knew it the door to their room was busted down. A big, buff, yet handsome man cam in holding a gun. He was a werewolf. The Alpha of their rival pack.

The next thing he said made Sierra gulp. "Give me Sierra or I start killing more people."
